When I was six or seven my parents had this really creepy doll that would give me nightmares. I pleaded with them to get rid of it but they said it was a family heirloom. I hated the doll and even purposely tried to break it many times.
We moved houses and my parents said they would leave the doll with my aunt. it made me feel safer knowing it would be coming to our new house. We got everything packed and in the moving truck. My mom asked if I would put the doll in my grandma's car. I put it in the trunk and shut it tight. I think I even locked it.
We got to our new house and started settling in. It was a week or two in our new house when my mom called my name. I walked to her room and she was holding the doll. " Why didn't you give this to grandma? I thought you hated it?" She said. I could feel my voice was gonna break if I said more then a few words. She gave it to me and said, " You put it where you want it." I ran to out new attic and threw the doll in as far from the door as I could.
I felt O.K now that It was there but I couldn't help but feel that I was always being watched. We made it a month and nothing else happened so I eased down. One night however changed that. I was taking a bath and herd rustling from above me. I got out as fast as I could because I thought it might be my dad and he needed help. I saw the attic was open and went up. when I looked around there was no one there. I looked to where I remember throwing the doll and it wasn't there either.
I barely slept that night. Every bump or creak made me scared. When I did fall asleep I woke up to my door nob turning and shaking. I didn't move and the shaking stopped. there is no doubt in my mind that it was that doll. but sense then I've never seen it. sometimes I feel it's still in our house.
