I was woke up the next day to Diane shouting at Meliodas. I groaned from the hangover that was looming over me but ultimately decided I needed to face the group at some point. I brushed through my icy hair and pulled on my clothes before slowly making my way to the bottom floor of the tavern.

"Good morning Lady Amihan." Elizabeth was the first to greet. I glared at her harshly, making her jump a bit in her place. I couldn't be bothered with her constant positivity right now. Last nights events frustrated me to no end and I needed to get a control on myself before I began lashing out for no reason.

"Can I talk to you for a minute Ami?" Meliodas chirped, putting down the hammer he was trying to reassemble the window with. I assume Diane broke it as she was poking her head through the large hole. The group silently watched for my reaction, though I didn't want to give anyone the satisfaction of lashing out.

"Fine." I huffed, nodding to the exit of the tavern and led him out there. I knew the conversation would be centred around the Gowther situation which I didn't want others overhearing. It was an awkward enough situation anyways.

"Are you okay?" He started as we both sat on the porch of the tavern. I leant back on my palms and let the suns rays coat my skin. It felt delicious.

"Why wouldn't I be Mel?" I turned to him, my crimson eyes boring into his emerald ones. He ran a hand through his messy hair and smiled at me.

"Because last night was pretty awkward." He let out a small chuckle. I rolled my eyes.

"That Gowther is an annoying fucker isn't he?" I commented, which he nodded whilst shrugging.

"Well he can be. Though all of us sins can be. I just wanted to make sure you were okay after it all. I didn't want you to feel uncomfortable." He placed his hand on top of the one of mine which was closest to him. They warmed up my rather cold hands quite quickly, and the gesture warmed my cheeks too.

"It was awkward yeah but we both know I don't love you. It's just uncomfortable because now everyone will think I do. I barely even like you." I added the joke on the end to make the conversation slightly less serious, something I often did when feelings were involved. He took his hand off of mine to shove my shoulder lightly.

"Don't start a fight you can't finish." I cheekily warned, my bad mood fizzing away the longer I was alone with the man. He naturally had that effect on people. He winked at me before responding.

"I reckon I could handle you Ami." I raised one of my eyebrows before tackling him off of the porch. I had his arms pinned down with my knees and sat firmly on his chest. I smirked at him and leant my face close to his shocked one.

"Gonna have to try harder then that Meliodas." I murmured, my eyes staring into his. He let a smirk fall on his lips, and before I could question it, he let a comment fall out of his mouth.

"I could get used to you pinning me down like this." Before I could slap him for the rude comment, he flipped us over so I was now pinned down by him. He leant down and placed his mouth close to my ear.

"Though I much prefer seeing you pinned." He let his hot breath fan my face and I felt goosebumps cover my entire body. My cheeks reddened and I tried spluttering out a response. He moved up so he was looking at me and my heart stopped completely.

"Meliodas... Why are your eyes like that?" I felt a wave of nostalgia hit me staring up into the deep purple, practically black orbs. They held so much more emotion in then his cheerful green ones. They was eerily beautiful.

"What are talking about Ami?" He chuckled, shaking his head and closing his eyes. He sat up straight on my chest before opening his eyes again, and there they were; his bright green eyes. Like they had never left.

"They were almost black for a while. Just like in my dream..." Meliodas waved his hand to brush the comment off and finally got off of my chest.

"It's nothing Ami, I'm sure it's just fresh in your mind from your dream. We best get back inside to speak to the others." Meliodas pulled me to my feet then led the way back inside the tavern. Now I wasn't feeling pissed off, I was just confused. I could have sworn his eyes darkened dramatically.

I sat myself at a table close to the exit and stifled a yawn as I watched Hawk groan in pain. The others were talking about something before we entered.

"I think I'm getting a sign!" The pig whined, trotting towards me. I creased my eyebrows together.

"A sign for what? You need to take a dump?" I questioned, a small smile settling on my lips at the creature. I had grown used to Hawk, though his mom still scared the shit out of me. Hawk was small, cute and quite funny though so I let the whole pig fear slide slightly for him.

"What I don't understand is what they wanted with Elizabeth?" Hawk continued spewing nonsense. I felt a presence suddenly appear behind me and I jumped up, brandishing my dagger.

"It's rather simple, though we didn't realise until recently that she wasn't the only key to breaking the seal. It seems that Amihan here also will be needed." I attempted to slice the woman just as Meliodas screeched for us to get away from her. Ultimately, the mage ended up grabbing ahold of us both and teleporting out of the tavern, though I think Elizabeth must have been touching Hawk because he teleported along with us.
