Once Ban and Elaine finished their conversation, he began running back to the others.

"Elaine, I need to say something too. I love you like a best friend and no one will ever replace you. We will find a way to bring you back, I promise." I wiped my eyes and followed after Ban once again. An explosion sounded from where the others were and I picked up my pace, running as fast as I could to reach Ban and the group. Once I got there, Ban was being thrown back by yet another explosion.

"Ban!" I yelled, pulling out my dagger and aiming it at the holy knight which caused damage to them.

"I don't believe you are one of the sins. Who are you?" The girl spoke in a robotic voice.

"Amihan, Ban's little sister. Which is why I can't let you get away with injuring him like this. Hail Storm!" I shouted my magical ability, sending a slightly larger tornado of hail and rain towards her. Just as i did, she let off another explosion which sent my hail and rain flying out at me. The spell rebounded onto me, sending me flying and covered in cuts and bruises. I coughed out blood as I landed with a harsh thump and the last thing I saw was Meliodas run in to attack. My strength still wasn't restored and I must have used it all on both the magical attacks I used today. This offence was just the last straw, sending me into darkness.

I woke up laying in a bed which wasn't mine to the touch of someone's fingers lightly grazing my forehead. I fluttered my eyes open and saw Meliodas, his mouth in the shape of an 'o' over the fact I just saw him. He was moving hair off my head.

"Meliodas?" I croaked, my throat feeling dry and sore. He restored his cheeky grin and sat on the edge of the bed.

"Hey Amihan. Feeling any better?" In all honesty, I felt exhausted. Like my whole body was being held down by huge weights and my head was pounding.

"It feels like I've just been hit by a gang of giants." I propped myself up onto my elbows with more effort then I'd like to admit whilst Meliodas just watched my moves.

"You exerted yourself too much back in the Necropolis. We thought it was best to let you rest for a while and try to gain back some strength." He explained before standing up and stretching his arms. I realised in that moment I must of had a concussion as I focused too much on the way his muscles flexed in his arms as he did so. I blushed at the thought and threw myself back down into the bed.

"How about I go make you some tea, yeah? Might help you get back to sleep." I let a small smile fall on my face as I nodded. Whenever I could I liked to have tea in moments like this one. It was so soothing to me and probably the best drink besides ale.

Soon, Meliodas returned with a small cup of tea and a yawn leaving his lips. I glanced at the windows and noticed it was pitch black outside.

"Here you go Amihan, I hope it helps." He grinned at me, handing me the small cup. I felt a wave of nostalgia hit me in this moment.

"Here you are Ami! I made it just the way you like, I hope it helps." The cheeky voiced chirped. I was blushing and smiling at just his voice alone.

"What would I do without you, aye?" I giggled.

"Are you okay Amihan?" Meliodas questioned with a creased brow. I snapped my eyes up to him and shook the weird memory off. That person sounded oddly like Meliodas. Strange.

"Uh— yeah. Thank you Meliodas. You should really get some sleep though, it looks late." I cleared my throat with a cough and hid my face behind my cup. I took a long sip and groaned with satisfaction. Just the way I like.

"I'm okay for now. Besides, you're in my bed." My eyes widened at his words.

"But where are you and Elizabeth meant to sleep?" I went to stand up but he pressed his hand on my shoulder to keep me in place.

"You needed to rest and Ban passed out drunk in your bed so I couldn't move you into there after we put you in here. Elizabeth is in the other bedroom so she's okay." He answered, placing himself back down on the edge of the bed.

"Go to Elizabeth's room then and get some rest." I urged him. I'm sure I was fine anyways and he barely knows me. He shouldn't be making himself exhausted to keep an eye on me.

"How am I meant to keep an eye on you if I'm not in the same room? I thought Ban was the stupid sibling out of you both." His words made me pout which resulted in him letting out quiet chuckles.

"He is the stupid one! Just sleep next to me then, you need to rest aswell Meliodas incase any more Holy Knights arrive. If I'm out of the game, I need someone to protect that idiot of a brother I have." I had a joking tone to my words but they were the truth. I wasn't strong right now and I needed to know Ban would be okay without me being there to have his back. I may be annoyed at him for abandoning me those years ago but he was still my brother at the end of the day.

"If you're sure." He shrugged and jumped into the left side of the bed after removing his shirt. I stared into my teacup to avoid the burning desire to see what he was hiding under his shirt this whole time. What am I even saying? I must be concussed to be thinking these thoughts.

"Goodnight Amihan." Meliodas chirped as he closed his eyes and put his hands under his head. He was asleep in the moments it took for me to finish my tea and place the cup on the bedside table. I realised that because Meliodas was on his back and arms spread, there was very little room for me.

"Fucks sake." I huffed before nestling down into the only available space, tucked right under his muscular arm.
