"I'll be back soon." Ban said as we arrived in a derelict village. The others were only going to set up the tavern so they could make some money whilst we tried to gain information on the Necropolis.

"I'm going to make sure that bastard doesn't do anything too stupid." I announced, bounding out of the tavern and running after my brother.

"Ban! Wait up!" He paused, looking at me over his shoulder. I jogged up to him and fell into step next to him as we explored the deserted town.

"This makes me think back to when we were kids." I sadly sighed. He looked down at me with knotted eyebrows.

"Because you're following me around?" He murmured with a little smirk. I slapped his arm lightly and chuckled.

"Well maybe if you had friends, I wouldn't of felt so bad that I had to follow you around now would I?" He sarcastically smiled at my comment and went to speak, though cut himself off as he noticed a little girl sat by a wall.

"Hey, are you okay?" I called to her, making her jump up in fright. She looked as if she hadn't eaten for a while, nor had she drunk anything. Both ban and I approached her slowly.

"I— I—" She cut herself off by fainting, though Ban was quick enough to catch her.

"Now this does feel like when we were kids. She hasn't eaten in god knows how long." Ban muttered. Just as he said this, a little boy who didn't look much older then the girl approached us with a pitchfork.

"Who are you? Leave my sister alone!" He yelled, though his voice and hands shook with nerves.

"If she's your little sister, shouldn't you make sure she's fed?" I slapped Ban's shoulder at the rude comment. Surely he could sympathise with this little boy as he grew up in his shoes.

"I said leave Ellen alone!" The little boy yelled before charging at us, his spiked pitchfork implanting in Ban's chest.

"No! He was only trying to help brother!" The small girl whimpered with fear as she regained consciousness. The boy began shaking even more, letting out a string of apologies.

"Hey it's okay, you were just trying to protect your sister." I softly spoke, kneeling down to the boys height. Tears were forming in his eyes as Ban tore the pitchfork from him and began healing immediately. I took the little girl from Ban as he spoke to the boy.

"Ban will be okay, don't worry about him. How about we take you both to our tavern and cook you up some food?" I offered. Before the girl could speak, I heard Ban let out a harsh grunt. I turned to him with a confused look until I saw a flying boy above him and a spear like thing in my brothers chest. The boy was hovering on his side, like he was laying on the air a few inches above the spear.

"What on earth are you doing?!" I screeched, placing the girl down and rushing to my brother.

"Who even are you?" Ban questioned after spitting out a large amount of blood.

"Who am I? Have you forgotten me already?" The boy spoke softly, almost in a teasing way. He removed the spear from Ban's chest with magic and flew higher in the air. I stood protectively infront of my brother, my crimson eyes glaring at him.

"Even if you've forgotten me, you must remember your own sin?" I looked back to Ban and he had a pained expression on his face, a far away look in his eye. He only did that when thinking of Elaine, but what sin did he commit that involved Elaine?

"I don't know who you are, but you better leave my brother alone!" I yelled before pouncing up towards the boy in attempt to hurt him. He flew away easily as I continued trying to cause any damage on him that I could, which he sadly avoided.
