I was ignoring Meliodas. It was entirely petty, I knew that. But I was more annoyed with him then I could ever of imagined being. He completely disregarded my feelings, just like a was simply designed to do his bidding. Why should it be up to him if I followed after King? He is not my superior anymore. I didn't have to follow his commands.

With every minute that passed, I could feel my frustrations building. I had left everything and everyone I cared about for this man. And I was repaid by being treated like something he owned and could order around. If anything, you'd think Meliodas would want me to leave. That way, he could focus solely on Elizabeth. That's what he's wanted since he met her, he just wanted me along to make sure I was fighting on his side rather then Zel's. Maybe that's why he wants me around. To ensure I stay loyal to him rather then go running back to Zeldris.

"Are you okay, Lady Amihan? You seem to be troubled." Elizabeth slid into the seat beside me, a warm smile on her face. I drank the remainder of my ale before smiling back. It was more forced then I would have liked, but the alcohol helped.

"I am just swell, Lady Elizabeth." I used her annoying habit of calling me a Lady against her, though she didn't seem to mind or notice.

"Well if you need to talk," she paused, reaching over and placing her hand over my own. I grimaced by the contact but made no move to move her. She was just trying to be nice, it wasn't like she remembered my disdain for physical touch. It reminded me of the first time I actually met Elizabeth.

"Will you hurry up?" Meliodas whined, finally getting frustrated with my slow walking. We both knew I was purposely trying to prolong the inevitable. But my stomach ached with nerves. The time had come to meet the woman I was hoping would be a phase that he would of outgrown.

"You seem awfully excited for something that is going to go horribly." He rolled his eyes at my pessimism, clicking his tongue with annoyance.

"Shut up. Everyone loves Elizabeth." A bitter chuckle fell from my lips. What a surprise, everyone loves a goddess. Let's send out a news pamphlet informing the masses that finally, the goddess race was receiving the love it deserved.

"Not everyone loves me Meliodas." I groaned, though he didn't respond before moving a bush to the side and leading me to a small clearing. It was surrounded by thick trees and had a flowing river cutting through it. Four big rocks sat on the riverbank, and a woman's back was to us.

She had waist length icy blond hair and pale white skin. She heard our footsteps, leading to her head snapping towards us. Her eyes were the same as every other goddess, glowing and innocent looking. She smiled brightly, jumping to her feet. She was tall, almost model-esk. Her beauty was honestly undeniable, making the jealousy I harboured for her to intensify.

"You must be the infamous Amihan." Her orange eyes drifting from myself to Meliodas, before snapping back sharply. "Meliodas has told me all about you, though I'm sure you're aware that your name is known across all of the races." I smirked at her words, shrugging before nudging Mel with my elbow.

"She's heard all about me, huh?" I grinned as he glared, rolling his eyes and tutting.

"Don't let that head of yours get too big." He placed himself over to the rocks, taking a seat on one. I went to follow suit, but was stopped by the goddess. She bent down, eyeing me from head to toe before pulling me into a bone crushing hug.

"What the fuck? Let go!" I hissed, wiggling out of her arms. She seemed confused by my outburst, though Meliodas found the whole scene comical.

"She isn't the affectionate type." He commented between light chuckles. Elizabeth took a step back, giving me space to manoeuvre around her.
