Let the Battle Commence

Hello avid readers! I'd like to thank you all for all of the wonderful feedback on the past couple chapters! It means so much to see all the support! Also, the last chapter included something about Katsuki taking the hero final exam. Please ignore that. Sometimes I write chapters with so much other stuff going on that I tend to forget some details. I apologize for the inconsistencies yall. So, in turn, I will keep doing my best when it comes to this story! Now, onto the next chapter of Inner Darkness!

As the building began to shake the little girls' eyes darted back and forth in panic. Izuku saw this and quickly embraced the girl, calming her nerves. The girl was shocked at the contact and tried to pull away, but quickly fell into the embrace after feeling the warmth of Izuku's hug.

"No need to worry." Izuku said calmly, "you are safe with me, little one."

The girl looked up at Izuku with tears in her eyes as they ended their embrace.

"We need to get to a safer place little one, let's go."

Izuku got up and looked down the halls to see an escape route, but the girl didn't follow. When Izuku went to leave she grabbed his garb making him stop and look at her. She was silent for a second before looking up to Izuku, eyes still wet with tears.

"M-my..." the girl spoke with a shaky voice, "My name is E-Eri."

Izuku smiled at the girl as he picked her up. "Thats a very nice name little one."

Izuku then pulled his hood back up and started running down the hall into the depts of the facility in search of Shang Tsung

Ochako, and Izumi ran through the front gate of the Yakuza facility with Katsumi, hero name Cherry Bomb, Kirishima, hero name Red Riot, Mirio, hero name Lemillion, Tamaki, hero name Sun Eater Nighteye, Fat gum, Eraserhead, Kenshi, Bi Han and a load of SWAT members as Ryukyu and her team delt with Yakuza members on the street. Runing into the building, Nighteye leads the charge going in the directions his inside source gave him and stops at a bookshelf. The group of SWAT and heroes gave a confused look to the future seeing hero, before Nighteye pulled on a book, and the bookshelf moved revealing a secret door leading into the depths of the facility. Without sparing a glance at the rest of the team Nighteye runs into the lower facility.

The rest of the group follow and are met with three members of the Yakuza in positions ready to fight. Just as the heroes jumped into the fight, the walls started to move erratically. Holes opened up and most of the heroes fell in. Fat Gum and Red Riot in one, most of the SWAT in another.

"Fat Gum! Red Riot!" 

Aizawa went to grab them when Nighteye stopped him.

"It's not worth it Eraser! They can handle themselves! Focus on the mission! Not your student!"

Aizawa looked at Nighteye and nodded regrettably and continued foreword into the fray. Katsumi found herself fighting a man that could grow and shoot crystals from his skin. Izumi found herself against a man who could take the items that people held. And Ochako found herself going against a man with a bag over his head, eating anything that got in his way. 

The three of them all used their quirks and decimated the three of the eight bullets. Katsumi's explosions ripped through crystal and the bag headed man was embedded into the ground with a gravity well. And the third man was stuck in the ceiling with his head hanging down. The three girls exhaled a deep breath as they started to run again into the halls of the underground facility.

The sound of footsteps echoed through the halls as a shadowy figure ran fast holding a small girl. The building around them was shaking and rumbling as dust fell from the ceiling. Eri clung to the assassin's shirt as he ran. Her eyes shut tight, afraid that this small gleam of hope would be snuffed out by him. They rounded a corner quickly and came to a stop just as fast.

"Hey! He's got the cure!"

"Get her!"

"Kill the ninja!"

Izuku and Eri had run into three thugs working for the Yakuza, all three wearing white face masks and black clothes. One of the thugs grew spikes off his back and hands, another grabbed a gun, and the third ran at the two with nothing at all. Izuku smirked under his mask as the thugs ran at them.

"Close your eyes and cover your ears little one, one your age should not be subjected to the horror I'm going to inflict onto these unfortunate souls."

Eri did as she was told as the thugs approached. Izuku's smile grew.

'This will be fun!'

Warning! This next scene will contain people being sent to their creator in bloody fashion (Death) If you do not like this sort of thing, please skip ahead. If not, enjoy the murder!

Izuku put Eri down as he intercepted a punch directed by him by the third thug. He pushed the thug away and leapt forward at the other two. The thug with the gun started open firing at the assassin, Izuku drew his sickle and split each bullet in half that was shot at him. With each shot fired Izuku drew closer and closer to the Yakuza thug, the spikey thug saw this and ran to stop the assassin's pursuit. Jumping at Izuku with a kick, Izuku side stepped and grabbed the thug's leg.

Before insanely smiling and chopping the leg clean off with the sickle.

The thug fell to the floor as his buddies watched in fear as Izuku stood over him, bloody leg in hand. And began to bludgeon the spikey thug with it. The screaming thug tried launching spikes at Izuku, but it was no use. soon the screaming halted, and the spikey thug's grey matter was all over the floor, and blood was everywhere. 

The two other thugs turned to run away only to fall into a portal below them, falling at the feet of the assassin. The third thug tried to run away immediately after realizing his position. Izuku chuckled under his breath and sent a kick towards the thug attempting to flee. Said kick broke the thugs left leg at the knee, causing him to fall and scream in pain. The thug with the gun went to shoot Izuku again but was met with a sickle stabbing both of his hands to the ground.

The thug with the gun looked up at Izuku shaking his finger at him.

"It's not that easy. Now die!" 

Izuku leapt into the air, falling through a portal below him feet first. The third thug, still clutching his broken leg saw the portal open up on the ceiling.

Right above his head.

Izuku shot out of the portal like a bullet landing on the third thugs head, completely crushing it against the cement ground. Izuku then focused his attention on the last surviving thug, still stuck to the ground by his hands. Slowly, and taking his time, Izuku made his way over to the thug who started to plea for his life.

"No! Please! Don't kill me! I'll do anything! Anything! Please!"

Tear poured down the thug's face as Izuku approached, grabbing another sickle from nowhere. The thug looked up at Izuku, who was now standing over him. The thug didn't see a human, no, the thug saw a monster. A blood thirsty killer who loved to destroy those around it. Before the thug could think anymore, a sickle was launched through the back of his head, killing him instantly.

Hello! No more gore after this! Thank you to those who read it!

Izuku removed the blade from the carcass's skull and turned to see Eri. Still in the same position, not moved an inch. Izuku cleaned himself off the best he could and picked her up, walking past the scene of destruction. Eri looked at Izuku with scared eyes.

"A-are they g-g-gone?"

Izuku gave a soft smile back to the girl

"Yes, yes they're gone, let's get you out of here."

Eri nodded slowly as Izuku began to run down the halls of the facility again.
