With a confident stride and a dangerous look in his eyes, Hyunjin stepped inside the old building. Jeongin was next to him, shoulders touching naturally, as if it had been normal, turning heads ruthlessly, as if they had been brought into this world specifically for that reason. They didn't link their arms yet; the matching jewelry was enough to demonstrate their relationship to the world's eyes.
The way that Hyunjin looked around the room made everyone freeze in their place. While Hyunjin's gaze in combination with his partly opened lips gave him a sexy aura, which made females gaze after him, the male next to him reminded them that he wasn't available. His partner wasn't lagging behind when it came to looks either: his young face, fair skin and his body proportions were enough to make him desirable. His cheekbones were highlighted by his slight make up, giving him an elegant aura, completing Hyunjin's look. The cold stare combined with his sexy, yet cold stare gave people the impression that he was not interested in anything other than business.
"Oh?" asked a voice from the crowd, giving the younger a chance to look around.
Jeongin turned around and glanced in between the heads of the people on his side. A boy with dark hair popped up, with a smile that Jeongin could recognize anywhere. His stylish clothing wasn't letting people assume less of him, yet he was the only one who didn't seem to be afraid of the power "couple".
"I've been looking everywhere for you!" he exclaimed, resulting in a frowning Hyunjin.
The two males hugged lightly, making Hyunjin confused. He glanced at them without saying anything, keeping his distance and his guard up, ready to protect Jeongin. Despite something seemingly familiar about the guy, something was ticking off Hyunjin. His patience was already hanging by a few threads and the appearance of a possible threat was only making it worse.
"Glad to see you more often lately" he added with a smile on his lips.
What is going on? Hyunjin glanced at Jeongin, who sent him a reassuring smile over his own shoulder.
As the two moved away, Jeongin noticed the confused look on the older male's face. He knew that Hyunjin might not remember who he was, but Jeongin was more or less disappointed: he had told the older about his friend a million times.
"Oh, I forgot to formally introduce you guys" Jeongin said, moving to stand by Hyunjin's side. "This is Heesung, my friend. Heesung, this is Hyunjin, my boss."
Hyunjin extended his arm and glanced at Heesung with a merciless gaze, scaring Heesung a bit. The new-comer didn't really expect Hyunjin hostility, so he tried to awkwardly move away from the male that might possibly kill him with his eyes only. A shiver ran over his spine, reminding him why Hyunjins' group was so feared.
Heesung swallowed dryly. "So... uh, you came with him?"
The older male cleared his throat. "I took him with me" Hyunjin expressed clearly. "We decided it'd be better if we were together. It was our opportunity not to hide, after all."
Jeongin widened his eyes. He glanced at Hyunjin, throwing a we'll talk later about this look. He couldn't really understand what was going on in his partner's mind, so he just tried to play along with it.
"So, Heesung," Jeongin started in hopes of getting rid of the knife cutting tension. "How did you come with?"
"Oh well" Heesung started nervously, his eyes shifting to his friend in hopes of avoiding the tallest male's gaze. "I'm supposed to be guarding Jungwon" he started, scratching the back of his neck nervously.
Hyunjin raised a brow at the statement, getting the idea that there was more to be said.
"The thing is, I thought that the plus one only applies to the actual ones coming, not the bodyguards..."
