Bangchan was the first one who came to work without looking like he had way too much to drink the previous night. His clothes were looking neatly on him, his face stone right before he saw Changbin laying on the couches, scrolling mindlessly on his phone. The younger moved over and walked straight to Chan as soon as he noticed him, excited to find out what's going on with him and Felix. Besides that, Changbin started feeling a bit lonely considering Seungmin had been typing away at his computer ever since he had left the room.
"Morning Chan" said Changbin, trying to hide his excitement.
Chan nodded and walked towards the coffee machine unbothered.
"How's your head?" asked Changbin. "There's some pills in the cupboard. There's a few left."
"Oh, thanks" he told the younger, who was analyzing his every move.
Suddenly, a thought popped into Chan's mind. HE knew something was off, and the feeling of dread was only getting closer and closer as he asked the question:
"Where's Han?"
Changbin laughed awkwardly and scratched the back of his neck. "Uh, funny story actually..." started the shorter male, sitting on the couch. "Lee Know kinda kidnapped him to his house."
Bangchan chocked on the water he had been drinking, coughing loudly; so loud that even Seungmin heard. Chan soon recollected himself and started questioning Changbin. He barely had any memories from lasty night, so Changbin figured out he'd have to tell him the whole story.
"Listen," he started talking under Chan's serious gaze, "me, you and Lee Know started drinking last night to celebrate. You remember that?" Chan nodded. "Ok. All of us moved to the couch later and continue drinking while a few were dancing. At some point, you got up and two minutes later you tell everyone that you're leaving."
Changbin stopped and looked at Chan, demanding an explanation.
"That doesn't explain where's Han" said Chan, not wanting to tell him about what had happened between him and Felix.
"Lee Know was talking to Han and suddenly he takes him and leaves" shrugged Changbin. "Seungmin said something about Lee Know missing his cats."
Chan sighed. "So, he's at Lee Know's?" tried to conclude Chan.
Changbin nodded. "Now, Chan" started Changbin, resting his elbows on his knees and looking him directly in his eyes, "where have you been?"
"Me?" gulped Chan, trying to make up an excuse.
The younger rolled his eyes. "I saw you leaving with Felix. So, was there something going on?"
"Nope" answered Chan as relaxed as he could. "He was feeling ill, so I took him outside. He didn't get much better so he asked me to get him home" he sighed, hoping his lie would sound authentic. "The thing is I don't know where he leaves... so I just took him back to my apartment."
Changbin blinked and looked at him in confusion. "That's it?" asked Changbin still in shock. Chan nodded. "So... I STAYED AT A HOTEL OVERNIGHT FOR NOTHING?" he shouted exasperated.
Thank you, Bangchan told himself in his head. "Call it spoiling yourself."
"Fuck off" scoffed Changbin, getting up to make a coffee for himself. "I can't believe this shit."
"Binnie" called chan. "Binnie" he repeated a bit more demanding. "I'll buy you food tonight, c'mon."
Changbin turned and gave him a thumbs up. "That's what I want to hear" he smirked and turned back to the coffee machine. "Do you want one?"
