Chan was standing still, his shoulders tense, his jaw clenched. Hyunjin and Jeongin had been gone for a while now... and Felix too. After the younger had convinced the older that it wasn't that dangerous in the bathroom and that he could go on his own, without Chan trailing behind him like a husky dog, the elder decided to stay still in eth exact spot he had been left to.
Where is Felix? he kept asking himself, unsure of whether to worry, look for him or wait for Hyunjin and Jeongin to come back. It was making his muscles tense with every second, listening to the voices around in hopes of hearing his cute voice call out his name.
Chan bit his lip. "Fuck" he swore under his breath as his legs started moving.
Letting his thoughts run free, he decided to fuck everything he had to do and look for the younger, telling himself that he was essential to the mission as an excuse to his workaholic self that kept question the decision. Long strides and a face made out the stone, Chan was moving through the ballroom with precision and efficiency, not wasting any god damn second: his goal was clear. He touched peoples backs as little as he could, grimacing when someone pushed him by accident.
In a few minutes, Bangchan arrived at the bathroom. He stepped inside without stopping, opening to door to the surprisingly empty room. The warm lights were showing off the mirrors on the walls and the marble counter where the sinks were. There, Chan watched as Felix stopped abruptly from washing his hands to send him the bright smile that Chan had to opportunity to see a few times by now. The elder let out a breath his shoulders finally relaxing a bit, their tension still evident to Felix who had somehow learnt a few things about Chan's body language.
Felix was quite surprised to the older in the bathroom. He started panicking, thinking he might have annoyed the elder with his slow pace. Shit, he thought as Chan approached him, keeping eye contact. The elder's brown orbs were hidden behind the transparent material of his glasses, a few strands of the newly dyed blue hair in the way. When the other's biggest body came close to him, Felix tried to desperately make his heart slow down, scared that maybe it might jump out of his chest.
"Hey Chan" Felix greeted the older in a small voice.
The tension in the air was chocking Felix.
The elder didn't say anything, he just looked at him.
"Anything wrong?" Felix asked, hoping that the older wasn't mad at him or that he had wronged him. Especially, since they had more or less of a special relationship.
Chan looked away for a split second but stepped even closer. The elder just looked in the mirror at them, watching as Felix tried to decode his stone cold face. He hummed in disagreement, propping himself on the white marble countertop.
Felix tapped his finger on the countertop a few times, the motion not going unnoticed by Chan's eagle like eyes. "It took an awful long time" Chan murmured, his gaze shifting to Felix in the mirror.
It was crystal clear that Chan was focusing on Felix, slightly scaring the younger with his quietness and eyes. Felix felt like a prey under the elder's gaze, making him want to crawl and try to find some kind of refuge somewhere.
Deciding to connect their gazes in the mirror, Felix was met with Chan's concerned eyes that were trying so hard not to let any emotion slip from him. Thus, deciding not to hold anything back, Felix let a soft smile light up his face, Chan's eyes focusing on Felix and him only, like he was Chan's whole universe.
Felix licked his lower lip. "I was fixing my hair and make-up" he confessed. "I smudged it over when I was ready to leave and come look for you."
The elder raised his eyebrow. "How come?"
