Bangchan was taken aback by the sudden tug on his shoulder. He turns around, his eyes only to land on the one and only be met by a wide smile, rosy lips and short dirty blonde hair. Chan had been wondering when he'd appear anyway, so he just sent him a knowingly smirk.
"Nice to see you too" Chan told him, widening his smile which turned into a smirk. "I've been expecting you for some time."
He laughed. "Oh c'mon bro, don't be like that" Jackson laughed and took a swing of his glass, only to empty it before the three unknown males' gaze. "I haven't seen you in a while."
It was Chan's turn to laugh. "Oh my gosh, I've been all over the place."
"Seems like that" Jackson shrugged.
"What do you mean?" asked Chan, confused by the other's choice of words.
"Rumors travel fast, ya know?" Jackson joked, leaning more on Chan's shoulder.
Suddenly, the male's gaze fell on the smaller frame nestling on the other shoulder, his dark eyes scanning Jackson's face carefully. Something about the male was screaming innocence, despite his outfit which only invited curious gazes on him. Jackson gazed at him before turning to look at Hyunjin, who had a shorter male on his side analyzing the situation quietly. He looks familiar, Jackson thought before straightening his posture and turning to look at the ones around him.
"What's up, Hyunjin?" he asked causally, as if they were way closer. "Never thought you'd have a date with you, not gonna lie."
Hyunjin rolled his eyes. "He's Yoon."
Jackson's face lit up as he extended his arm. "Nice to meet you, Yoon."
Jeongin took his hand and shook it gently, nodding.
"We've seen each other before, right?" Jackson asked, resulting in Jeongin's breath stopping for a second. Chan saw the youngest's body tense, yet he waited. "You work for Hyunjin, right? I think I've seen you at a meeting or something...?"
Jeongin let out a small, satisfied breath, which didn't go unnoticed by Chan and Hyunjin. "I do" he stated, his face blank. "I'm his assistant."
"Oooh" Jackson reacted, a shit eating grin appearing on his face. "Didn't think you'd be into this kind of stuff, Hyunjin" he confessed. "I thought be more into a hitman or a dangerous dude, kinda like Mr. Smith."
Hyunjin laughed lightly at joke. He knew Jackson was a tad shameless at times. "What can I say, his help is needed during working hours and after."
Jeongin's ears went red while Felix got secondhand embarrassment. The freckled glanced ta Chan, wondering if he was going to say similar things about them. What if he makes any kind of reference to our nights together?
Jackson started laughing, patting Hyunjin on the back. "Good for you man, enjoy your time. It's hard to find people like that" he explained. "Don't let him work too much, ok? Entertain him, he seems to be boring" he whispered to Jeongin, winking.
In an attempt top continue Hyunjin's game, Jeongin nodded. "I keep him entertained every night, don't worry" the youngest smiled sweetly.
WHAT, Felix screamed in his head, completely surprised by the younger's words. He had never thought Jeongin would be this kind of person. Still, an idea popped up in his head. I mean... if what he's saying is true, that would explain why they're so close... Felix felt his face heat up, his imagination trying to trick him into thinking about scenarios he shouldn't.
"What's wrong?" Chan whispered to him, applying a bit of pressure on his waist to get his attention. Felix woke up from his trance, only to be met by Chan's face which was awfully close to his. The younger shook his head and shifted his attention to Hyunjin who was talking to Jackson about the party.
