"It's commendable, Ouma, really. I almost have respect for what you did!"
You towered over Kokichi, after just knocking him to the floor - it was surprisingly easy, no wonder Kaito liked doing it. He had dared claim to be the mastermind, knowing full well that is false... It boiled your blood, to see him get away with it, but at the same time it was respectable how he'd tricked them all. He didn't look afraid though, even after you'd punched him: he always was good at masking his emotions. It was as if he was an empty husk, showing no reaction whatsoever. You held the remote in your hand, the one he used to hack the Exisals. You looked at the bloody Kokichi, and simply smirked in his direction. He always was your favourite participant in your game, so you didn't really want to kill him. You threw the remote to the ground and stomped on it, until all its gears were broken and exposed: you couldn't have him using it again.
"So I was right. You are the mastermind - I knew I could lure you out somehow. I'd looove to talk, but I should clean myself up first. Don't want to die of blood loss during our conversation!"
He got up and went over to the sink, and washed away the blood pouring from his head. With a groan of annoyance, you reached over and wrapped him up in bandages - you weren't going to have him die yet. As you did so, he laughed to himself a little before shaking you off.
"If you are the mastermind, which I don't doubt, why are you keeping me alive? You could drown me right now you know, and get away with it. So it's not weird for me to question why you don't just kill me."
You gave him a side eye glance, before scoffing - sweet, naïve Kokichi...
"Because you make the game more interesting, Ouma. I'm not supposed to have favourites, but when you interfere I can barely contain myself."
You smiled menacingly, to which he just returned: of course. He then turned around to drain the sink, and you retreated back into his dormitory. It was full of conspiracy-theory type of stuff, from a whiteboard with red string, and Kaede's wax effigy. It was a little creepy, having it hang in the corner of the room, but who were you to judge... You were forcing them to kill each other, after all.
"Admiring the research? Nihishishi~ I don't think I'll be needing it now. Why exactly did you come here in the first place?"
"... You know I'm the mastermind, Ouma. Don't try to deny it, or lie your way out of this one. You've known for a while now, haven't you?"
That stunned him into silence, his face turned serious; finally, something got through to him. You'd purposely been dropping hints left, right and centre, just so he would notice - you knew he would. For the Ultimate Detective, Shuichi hadn't exactly clued in to the whole thing yet. You stepped forward to face Kokichi, and twirled a strand of his hair between your fingers. It was fun, seeing him so flustered and unsure... Nobody ever really got to see this, as it was difficult to do. But you'd been studying Kokichi for a while now, and knew exactly how to push his buttons. You slightly readjusted his bandages, to ensure they were tightly on, as you thought about how easy it would be to rip them off, tie them around his neck and tighten until his face turned the colour of his Panta bottles... Ha. It was amusing to think about, but you knew you couldn't do that - at least, not yet. For now, you were willing to just see his face dusted pink in embarrassment from how close you were. It was plainly obvious how much Kokichi liked you, so for you to be the mastermind was conflicting for him.
"St-stop that. For a mastermind, you sure are getting friendly with a.. participant."
"But of course, Ouma! How else am I supposed to keep you exactly where I want you? You're not the only one who can manipulate. Like I said, I can almost respect you - we aren't so different."
From behind your back, you pulled out the katana that had once been on Kaede's effigy, and swiftly held it up to Kokichi's neck. Of course, you didn't intend on killing him, but he didn't have to know that. In a showy fashion, you twirled it around, as the gold flaked off onto his scarf. You then lifted it upwards and grazed his left cheek, leaving the gold leaf to mark him. He let out a sigh of relief, that you hadn't used the katana to slice him, but raised a hand to swipe away the gold leaf. Before he could do that, you grabbed his hand, and pinned him against the wall.
"You're not going to tell the others about our little rendezvous. I think we can come to an understanding, can't we? We are both malicious individuals, after all. Tell yourself whatever lies you want, but I know the truth. You won't tell anyone about any of this. Which is why...", you leaned in so that your lips brushed against his ear, "I won't kill you. I won't let you die... if you join me, Ouma."
You let go of his wrists, and it took him a second to lower his hands. You still stood towering over him, as you tilted his head up to look at you. There was some sort of fear in his eyes, which was fairly amusing... But you were just wanting to know if he would accept the offer.
"You.. you think I'm going to just... let you kill them all.....?" He said in a strained voice, as he thought. You lifted his head further up to look into his deep purple eyes, waiting for him to continue speaking. As you lightly twirled his hair, he couldn't help but blush. People often hated Kokichi, so any sign of affection was almost guaranteed to win him over, and you knew that. But you also knew the reason he had Gonta executed was to stop the killing game - was it for self-preservation, or did he actually want to save everyone?
"If you.. think I'm going to let them all die, just so I can... be safe..." his frustration slowly dissipated, and the malice you were so used to had returned. His grin was filled with malicious intent, as he reached his conclusion, "Then you're right, Crackerjack! Can I still call you thaaaat? Just be warned, I'm going to get annoying veeeeery quickly."
"Oh, Ouma... So you can succumb to temptation? Nice to know. But how can I believe you, when most of the breaths you take are for countless lies?"
"... Because you looooove me~! Riiiiiight? Right? Right?!!"
He seemed so excited, like a chihuahua or a child at Christmas: he wasn't wrong though, but you didn't want it to show too much. After all, it wouldn't be fitting for the mastermind of a killing game to have a big capacity for love now, would it? Regardless, Kokichi stood on his tiptoes to kiss you, which you didn't really have time to dodge. He then happily skipped out of the room, his head still wound in bandages.
You don't know it yet, Crackerjack... but this school is mine.... YOU are mine....
