AVA
"Tell me about your family."
He sighed, "I am the eldest. One mum, one dad and one little brother who is just like Owen."
I swivelled around, a smile dancing on my lips, "Reallyyy? Just like Owen?"
He nodded when I squealed in excitement, "I want to meet him!"
His eyes met mine and something flashed before those beautiful irises but it was gone as suddenly as it came, or maybe I had imagined it, when he nodded and took another long drag of his drink, "Sure."
"Is he one hundred percent like Owen?"
He nodded, "A hundred percent. Giggling, laughing, teasing you all the time but in a way that makes you fall in love with him. Always there for everyone, caring, generous, loving and a cute little mr. bean."
I laughed when my heart swelled, "Awwww, I am already in love with him. Where is he?"
He gulped a massive one, his voice coming out hoarser maybe because of the alcohol, "On the trip. With mum and dad."
The pancakes were made when I placed his and mine on our separate plates and handed one to him. Pouring orange juice in our respective glasses, I set it next to us when we started having breakfast as I asked, "Where did they go tho?"
"Around neighbourhood."
My mouth dropped, "You mean, a trip right here?"
He chuckled and nodded, his eyes on the plate as he ate his pancake, "Yes."
"Well then, if they are right here, can't you meet them?"
He finally looked up to me, "I do."
My mouth fell open, "Thennnn?"
"I just miss them around here. They are more in their true colours at their own home."
I nodded and cut my pancake when I asked him, "Are they good?"
He suddenly nodded, "Oh hell yes. They are amazing, thank you." and he leaned forward to kiss me when I did the same. We had breakfast when after cleaning the kitchen up, I looked at him, "You go and take a shower. I'll wait for you. You have been down all night."
"You promise you'll be okay?"
I nodded and chuckled, "Just tell me there aren't any terrorists here who can kill me the way these glasses are broken."
He chuckled and kissed the side of my head, "No, darling. Sit here and make yourself comfortable, I'll be back." I nodded and as soon as he left, I tied my hair in a messy bun and started cleaning his living room, carefully picking up the pieces and throwing them away. I wanted to be done by the time he came but it was too messy. I was almost done picking up the glass shards when I went to the kitchen and grabbed a new sponge with some dishwasher. Mixing it with a bit of water, I began to scrub his carpet with the blood stains when I heard footsteps. Shit. I wanted it to be done before he came.
He didn't come to the living room when I heard his voice, "Ava??"
I shouted from where I was, "IN HERE!"
Pure irritation was laced in his voice when he shouted back, "IN WHERE, YOU DUMBFUCK?"
"IN YOUR LIVING ROOM, YOU LIVING SORRY EXCUSE OF AN ASSHOLE!"
I heard running footsteps when he came inside. He looked around the room and then at me when he ran towards me, "What the fuck, Ava? This wasn't your work and are you okay?" He bent down and started examining my hands when I smiled, my heart warming seeing his forehead creased in concentration as he examined my hands. He examined every part of my exposed body for any cuts when he looked at me and shook his head, "You shouldn't have-" and I pressed my lips against him, making him go silent there and then.
