Owen and I walked down the aisle, Owen occasionally tripping over my dress which made everyone chuckle around. He would squirm and get up, hide his embarrassment, fix his tie and suit, would hold my dress in his hands again and start walking.
I was holding my overly large bouquet of purple and pink flowers with golden coloured ribbons in between. Xandros couldn't see my face clearly from afar away because of the veil which to be really honest, helped me a lot for controlling my nerves. Atleast, I could walk down with my face covered and just as this thought crossed my mind was when I lost it.
From behind the veil, I accidentally giggled which is one of my toxic traits. Laughing in serious moments. Owen pulled my dress a bit and whispered, "AG, don't make me go bad T-Rex on you right now. Hold your giggles in."
"It's funny."
"No, you are looking ridiculous. I have some class, so please don't ruin it. My friends are here and my reputation will decrease if they find out that my sister is deranged. So, kindly do me the favour and just walk. Nothing else."
I spared him a glance to see him saying all of this with a smile on his face. And as petty as I was, as child-like behaviour as it was, when I CLEARLY should have NOT done this on my wedding day, as I was walking down the aisle........... I did it. I kicked my foot and hit him sideways when his inner-child came out as well. He literally slapped my leg which infuriated me.
Slapping the back of his head, I turned around to see him glaring at me when he whispered, "This is not over."
We had reached the threshold and I now, had a clear look of Xandros. He had an amused expression on his face looking at the both of us when I just sighed. Imagine a bride and her brother hitting each other while walking down the aisle. Sibling rivalry at its finest.
Owen grasped my hand in his and bringing it to his lips, he kissed it. My heart fluttered with love when I bent low and took him in for a hug. I thought that our fight was long forgotten and that he actually was about to tear up when he hugged me and whispered, "I'm telling Xos that you once fell in the gutters. Pay back for hitting me on the head."
I rubbed his back, "Owie-"
"Okie bayeeeee."
I straightened up and hit the back of his head again when I immediately held his hand to stop him from hitting me. But he slowly stood next to me and the little shit placed his shoe on my feet and deliberately pressed on it. My eyes widened when Xandros noticed and following the movement of my eyeballs, he lowered it down to see what was going on.
He curled his lips inside his mouth and let out a small chuckle when Owen placed forward my hand. Xandros laid out his one when Owen whispered, "You are the only family that I have left along with AG. My father left me, my mother is no more. Even though AG and I fight a lot.......... I love her. She is my everything and please take good care of her. She is too special for me."
I sniffled and rubbed the top of his head with love when Xandros bent down, ruffled his hair and nodded, "I'll make it sure that you see for the first time with your own eyes how queens are treated."
"Perfect, because that would make me a prince. Cause if AG would have been a princess, I sure as hell wouldn't ever be okay with being a janitor."
Xandros and I, both chuckled when Owen slowly placed my hand in his, finally giving me away. Heat crept up in my body, immediately calming me down as I felt Xandros's hand in mine. It fit so well, it looked so perfect and the most beautiful picture that could ever be captured. There was an electrifying sensation buzzing inside my body, my toes curling over the feeling of his husky breath beside my ear, over his hands in my hair, kissing my neck, pulling me closer, of his hands slipping inside the band of my underwear and flicking my-
