2. Trouble to double

How can one day cause so much chaos?!

We couldn't escape this building as every foe I just earned unintentionally is getting in our way. And our new class starts in ten minutes. April sighted before pushing my bag into my hands, "Okay, we got to get to class, just keep them in the bag and don't let them out."

"Gotcha!"

In class no one was bothering us.

RING!

Well except April's phone. Whoever called her in the middle of the class was asking to get their butts kicked. She took it and threatened the one on the other line to stop calling. Curious I looked at her, as she stopped halfway through the threat, "Donnie, you are where?" She looked at me getting all friendly and seem to force out a smile. For me, it was disturbing and creepy as I don't know her that well to guess what this means. On the other hand, I had other problems, like a handful of creatures nibbling holes through my bag. Their little head popped out of the holes, only for me to push them back in with my finger.

Unaware that I had some audience watching me the whole time. April also looked over to me, "What are you doing?"

"They bite through my bag"

"Hey April, what are those worms coming out of your friends' bag?" said someone on the other line, making me hear it. looking across the room I seen no one staring at me. April laughed uncomfortable before distancing herself from my sight, "Leo, you guys shouldn't be in school."

"What about Donnie?"

"He is helping me with my project"

"Awww she is feeding the little worm~"

April looked over, seeing me feed the turtles some cucumber, "Cut it out Y/N!"

"They're hungry"

"Yes, April they are hungry"

She backed off again, "No one asked for your opinion Mikey"

While she heard him whine, another one called out, "Wait...are those turtles?!"

I lost control of the animals, as they all spread across the table in every direction. I leaned over to catch them, preventing them to fall off, "One, two, three...where's four?"

"He will get squished!!!!" whoever screamed on April's phone caused me to panic. In an instant, I got on all fours, finding the little one crawling around on the ground, as one student pushed his chair back, ready to crack the shell. It was only a matter for seconds, but I got him in time. To make sure they are all save..."

"Ouch!"

...and not starving. As a precaution I placed them all in my lunchbox. A little cramped but this will do for now. In the meantime, April excused herself and left the room along with her phone, "Where are you guys?". As for me, I had other problems to deal with than her weird behaviour.

"We are in your class, by the way, who is that friend of yours? She is funny."

"Get out of there Leo and she is not my friend. We are colleagues working on a project."

"Hey April, any chance you come back in?"

"Not if you and your brothers leave Donnie!"

A wave of moaning was heard, followed by them saying "fine" in a bored manner. The call should end after Donnie complained about the accident earlier and that I should pay for the purple jacket to get it clean. April ignored his whining before cancelling the call herself. She checked the room for the boys, looking at the ceiling and seeing them leave through the windows. Pleased by the sight, she went back to her seat, "Hey Y/N, did I miss anything?". Her eyes turned dark as she caught me play with the little turtles, "You are supposed to listen to the lecture, not playing."

"...sorry..." Well what a waste of a good lecture that was. We will be screwed if this turns up in our next exam.

To get some rest we stayed outside of the building, but still not capable to leave the premises. The purple dragons are near the gates and the other areas were filled with popular students, including the ones that hate me. Under a tree we enjoyed our lunch for today. April had finally got some feeling of peace, leaning against the wood, breathing in the fresh air, while looking up to the sky.

"AH!"

"April, what's wrong?" her scream wasn't terrifying, more like she had seen a spider. Instantly she waved her hands not to worry.

"Are you afraid of spiders or something?"

It was far worse than this she thought, looking up. While she looks annoyed, a bunch of mutant turtles sat in the tree waving nervously at her. Now it was my turn to scream. April panicked, "It is not what it looks like!" Her fear faded as I looked at her with tears in my eyes, "It is...my food..."

I opened the lunchbox, "...they ate my sandwich...and pizza slices."

She sighted relieved, "You will be fine"

"Is this even good for the turtles, eating pizza?"

April looked up to the boys, who shrugged at my question. Those little ones needed to be in the shelter as soon as possible, I already feared for the books, as they are only borrowed. We both decided to call it a day, leaving the place through the backdoors that is only for staff members. If anyone finds out, we are toast. The mutant turtles took this opportunity to go back to the sewers. The purple one was annoyed by his brothers to ruin such a wonderful day at uni. Raph finds it awfully boring as well as Mikey and Leo. If it wasn't for me to entertain them, they would have slept through the whole lecture.

"I told you guys this was no place for dummies like you!"

The blue turtle clicked his tongue, "As if, with Aprils new friend it would be a blast."

"Entertainment isn't part of the curriculum Leon. University is a holy place of intellectual and academics to interact with one another."

Leo smiked wide, "So no place for you either Donnie."

Before these guys got on each other's throats, the orange turtle got between them, "You think she will be our friend too?"

"Why should she?" demanded Donnie.

Instead of an answer, Raph the turtle in red asked the group, "You think she likes Teddy bears?"

"Definatetly, but maybe a turtle plush might be more convenient"

Leo laughed out loud, "No need Mikey..." he gestured at himself, "...when she can have the real deal to cuddle with."

The protest was about to start, as purple was losing his patience, "GUYS, I demand an answer!"
