11. Like a boss...in crime

Heinous green held on to my hand like I was a child. To be fair, from his point of view we are all kids.

Even his gang.

They followed us while keeping a safe distance. The big guy dragged me off to a place, where he can cause chaos. The rat man offer from a distance to go to the next casino. But Green didn't feel like going, heading towards the bakery.

Leon snorted at the bad choice, "seriously that dump isn't even worth to tear apart." The eel, Mikey, agreed, "yeah, but how can we change his mind? Any ideas Danny?"

The whiskers twitched while he thought of something, "Well he won't listen when it comes to money, not for obstacles, not for food..."

The got Mikey an idea, "But theres one thing he surely listens to."

Curious they stared at the eel, as he approached us slowly. A few feet apart, he spoke to me, "Hey girl".

Still drinking my soda, I looked sideways, "Hm? Hmmm"

"Huh?"

The fluid went down my throat, "..it's Y/N."

"Yeah, so...cheeky Y/N, could you ask green something?"

"I can but, why are you calling me cheeky?"

The eel boy grinned wide, "Because you smile cheeky. Anyway, tell him that you want to go into the casino."

"Why?"

I heard the gang moan, as it was obvious. But for me, I had no intention to get some cash. Green stared down on that eel, getting annoyed by his interruption. As no one was allowed to talk to me, according to the giant's way of thinking.

"I don't want to go"

I pointed at the bakery, seeing green folowe it with interest. Suddenly, I was grabbed and is now sitting on his left shoulder. The gang had no chance to change this brute without me...

That is as Leon had an idea.

He took a deep breath, "Hey Heinous green!"

Danny and Mikey shook under the glare, while Leon smirked back, "I heard someone say in the casino, that cheeky is a stupid girl!"

I rolled my eyes at this, surely no one would fall for something that obvious.

"Hm?!"

"Whoa, hey! Don't turn, where are you going?" Holding on to his neck, the giant took a sharp turn and ran towards the casino.

For the boys clearly a victorious plan. And for me, one step to become a criminal.

Thankfully for Hueso, he is not wanted anymore, following the blue trutle through the busy streets.

"Wait!"

Leo ignored his demands and keeps walking.

"Stop!!!"

"Leave me alone bone man!"

The skeleton managed to catch up, catching his breath, "I apologize for what I said."

"So what? It won't change that no one believes in me."

"I hate to say it...but...I do."

Adjusting his hat, he noticed that he got Leo's attention, "I support you on your plan."

"You will?"

Hueso bowed deeply, "absolutely".

Leo finds it wierd, after all he said before, but as time was working against them, he just took his words and accept it. He looked into the distance, whispering," I will find you, no matter where you are."

"Who are you talking to?"

"Just to myself."

"Is she really worth it? I mean there are plenty of human girls at the surface."

Leo shook his head, "But theres only one of her. A sweet little angel."

Of chaos and destruction.

The entire casino was demolished. The boys grabbed all the money they could carry and I sat on the shoulder close to cry out to green. He shouldn't hurt innocent Yokai, begging him to stop. His eyes didn't look at me, until he heard a loud noise.

The sound of hunger.

Embarrassed I looked away. Green had snapped out of his rage and headed to the bakery. The gang watched as his first made a massive hole into the window, grabbing all sorts of cake, sweets and bread. Holiding them up to me, his lips formed into a tiny smile. A sweet moment you think? No!

Because this owner had watched us from behind the counter, calling the police. And because of stupid Danny, he heard my name and a picture. Even worse, rumors spread fast in the hidden city, hours later we were the most wanted gang...and I was supposed to be cheeky Y/N, the crime boss. All because I sat on the big guys shoulder.

Seriously, I didn't do anything!!!!

It didn't take long for the turtles to know about this rumor, seeing that photo of me and the gang. Raph got extremely worried, "Guys, this is serious. We got to get her out of here."

"I don't know, she seems to enjoy herself"

Mike hit Donnie for this comment, "Are you serious? April's friends are no criminals! Right Raph?"

"Yeah, sure" he said, suppressing his experience with the gang back then, "We got to find her before the police does."

Purple sighted slightly, "And Leo?"

Red hesitated for a minute, "...we catch up to him, to find the girl is our main priority now."

"You think we catch up to Leon?"

"Since he is obsessed with this girl to be his girlfriend, I am sure Mikey, he will not hesitate to get there first."

And blue was first...the first to see my wanted poster.

His eyes teared up as his panicking voice screamed out, "My baby is a criminal?! That can't be true"

"You sure have a strange taste in women"

"Say that again bone man!"

Hueso recalled Leo remark that I am an angel, but on the photo I look like a dangerous crime boss. For blue impossible to believe in, "She is not bad".

"How would you know?"

"I just do!" ripping the poster in two, he walked off. Hueso had a plan on how they may get some information. It won't be pretty but worth their while. All in all, Leo didn't like it...seeing old enemies again. But the skeleton assured him that this place is made for rumours, as rich Yokais love to gossip.

Unfortunately there was one main problem for them both to get in.
