While Hypno the magician, Warren Stone and I talked about the job, April kept texting someone.

I nudged her side to make her stop but one look on her screen I panicked, "Why are you texting Donnie?!"

"Just in case"

"In case of what?"

She made a nod towards our guests. I frowned, "Chill, I need this job. And they seem to be friendly." They both grinned uncomfortable while April shook her head no, "We know these guys and they are evil mutants."

"No more" added Hypno assuring April that they left the villain business behind. As magician and Warren as assistant they had countless of gigs btu no one to help them plan out. Their puppy eyes towards us got April weak, "Fine but if anything happens to Y/N, I call the boys."

Hypno gestured a cross over his chest, "Cross my heart and hope to die."

"For Y/N's sake you better be."

"Will you excuse us for a minute" I asked them politely before gesturing for April to follow me out the café. Outside I got a little loud on her, "Will you stop this overprotective act, you're even worse than Leo."

"We know these guys Y/N. I don't want you to get hurt."

"I won't because I can take care of myself." April could tell me a few situations that this was a lie but refused to stand correct. She begged me to be careful after all and came back inside the café with me. The rest of the interview went well, the wage was enough to save up for an apartment...a run down one. But I stay optimistic. At least I had a home for the meantime. And I am glad they let me stay as long as I want.

While Leo wanted to get away from that place tonight.

He finally got the message he wanted. The minute his phone made that announcement it was Donnie that stood beside him, "What was that?"

"An update" said Leo casually and left.

Donnie nodded relived, "Ah yes an update..." until it hits him, "...hey you never care about updates!" Normally when this happens, he gives his phone to Donnie like the rest of his brothers. Because of that he got Mikey and Raph to check on Leo. Not even five minutes and he was cornered by his brothers. Mikey looked at blue as he wore human clothes, "Where do you think you are going?"

"What are you...Splinter 2.0? I am going out."

"Where?" said Raph with his hands folded over his chest.

"Ehm...to bros pizza...?"

Mikey glared at him, "What are you up to Leo? You are never unsure when it comes to pizza." Leo had no chance; they won't let him go out. This whole situation escalated until Splinter appeared. Their fight made him miss a very scene of a series that was important to the story plot. For this he grounded them all for tonight, "And no weapons, no smartphones tonight."

"WHAT?????!"

All the boys gave Leo a glare before throwing their weapons and phones towards their dad's feet. Leo had a hard time to hand out his phone till Splinter took it off his hands, "Go now". For the rat man was this not normal that they would fight like that, something serious was going on but no one dares to tell him. Suddenly Leos phone received a message, "A delivery?"

"For whom?" I asked entering the Lair. From where I stand, I could see the boys' bedrooms. Donnie playing games on his computer, Mikey drawing, Raph lifting weights and Leo reading his comics...all wearing their headphones along with a deep frown.

"What is going on here?"

Splinter assured me it is nothing, "Just a little fight among brothers, no biggie. Say could you do me a favor?"
