9. Portal jacking?

Leo had messed it up...once again.

But he knew where to get help, as this wasn't his first time to lose someone through his portals. His brother's eyes twitched at the memory. Although they still hope they can get back to Tahiti again on vacation.

Blue assured them that he got the perfect plan to get me back, as he turned around and headed towards the doors. Raph slammed it shut, "Oh no, you are not doing this on your own!"

"I caused it, I fix it. Donnie vandalizes our missions several times, you never beat him up for it."

"Because he didn't teleport a human to who-knows-where!!!"

"I send you to a nice spot, so why should she be anywhere uncomfortable?"

Red held on to Leo's neck, pulling him extremely close to his face, growling, "Don't push your luck, Leo." He was seeing red, especially as Sunita and April are worried about me. For the time being, Raph offered the girls to go back home and to not worry about my absence. As for them, they pulled blue on his arm and together they went to Senior Hueso's restaurant.

As you can guess, he was not happy to see them, especially one turtle in particular.

"I hope this is your usual evening meal" referring to the large number of pizzas they ordered during their stay. Purple sighted loudly, pushing his blue brother towards the skeleton, "unfortunately not, because this idiot managed to lose someone through his portals."

Hueso slammed his hand onto his face, "Portal jacking again?"

"Hey, I am getting better at this"

"Obviously not good enough..." he sat down, "...and you want me to find out where this person is?"

Leo assumed that it was just another stealing trick from his pirate brother, getting a hit with a bone hand across his face.

"My brother promised me not to do stealing again, he vowed on our papa's ship."

"Sounds like a classic betrayal among brothers."

Hueso gave him another hit, making the turtle fall face first to the ground "My brother knows the consequences! He would never go against my word." Although he doesn't like Leo and his cheeky remarks, he helped the boys find me.

"Speaking of person, who did you lose?"

They wanted to say a friend of Sunita, as Leo beats them to it, "My girlfriend".

"Your girlfriend?!" he couldn't believe what he hears, as blue stood there proud by this reaction, "You sure it wasn't meant to happen?"

"What you mean?"

His brothers hit their faces. Purple stepped forward, "If she was truly his girl, then yeah, that might be the cause."

"SHE IS MY GIRL!"

"ANYWAY...she is not only lost but also unconscious, we have to get her back as quick as possible."

Hueso nodded, getting his hat, "We take the west entrance to the hidden city, I am sure we can find some answers at the docks." He pointed at blue, "And you..." his face turned dark, "...are forbidden to make anymore portals."

"Oh, come on!"

"Unbelievable that this has a girlfriend"

"I heard that bone man!"

"...she has my deepest sympathy..."
"HEY!"

Leo looked back at his brothers, who are also nodding in response.

"Seriously?"

Red clicked his tongue, "He has a point."

While they are heading towards the hidden city, Leo was pouting in the back. He couldn't believe that everyone thinks he is a bad boyfriend. Sure, he lost me through portal jacking, but he can get me back.

In the meantime, I was wide awake.

Also tied up.

A bunch of guys found me. One was a rat man, dressed in a fancy suit, stood before me, "Where do you come from?" I was told that I came from the sky and that is it. Looking around, I shrugged. His whisker twitched, "A human in the hidden city...Yoh, check for a cloaking broach."

Another guy, an eel like creature, looked all over me.

I was glad that no one dared to lay hands on me.

"She is clear, a real human."

The one looking like an ogre clapped his hands together while whistling in approval, "Nice guys, we sure get a few bucks for her. Danny, how much do we owe big Mama?"

"Well, if we sell her right, we are off the hook."

Concerned I looked around for help, only to see that I was in the middle of nowhere, only surrounded by four guys. The last one was sitting behind them. Once he was called over by the eel man, I swallowed hard. He was gigantic!

His expression wasn't comforting either, as he glared at me.

Coming closer, his face was inches apart from mine, while his hand came closer. I feared for a hit, closing my eyes. Only to hear him hum.

Opening one eye, he held out a bag of crisps.

Looking in disbelief, he held one piece towards me. The boys stood a few feet away, obviously scared of that big guy. One of them whispered at the fancy rat, "Can you believe this Danny? Heinous Green is being kind to a human."

The eel smirked wide at this, "This will come handy, right Leon?"

"You got it Mikey. Let's get her all fixed up for the show."

Although as they took one step in my direction, Heinous Green growled at them. Going back, Danny held his hands up in defense, "Maybe later guys."

The big green guy with red hair still looked terrifying, but his actions to feed me took a little of the fear away. I gave it a try and smiled with a full mouth. From his side, his lips went up on one side, even though it was only a little, it showed me that he was trying. The other guys remained in a safe distance, even as green untied me. It was awkward walking beside this giant, while he held my hand like a child. Someone it was embarrassing, but no one wanted to anger this bad boy, not even me. At least they were kind...for the time being.

That way I could think on where I am and how to escape.
