I stayed in my room the whole day and tried to feel anything but it didn't work. To distract myself I started a home workout. Nothing worked. I went downstairs to grab something to drink. "Karen, why are you so dressed up?" I asked her. "I'm going out honey," she explained. I nod, grabbed a drink and went to my room.I slept early.

I woke up at 10am and went downstairs.

"Honey, I told your colleagues that you're not coming to work this week." She said caring.
"Karen. I think I'll go to Billy's today." I said without looking at her. "Sure, if you want to. Does he know your coming?" She asked. "No," I said grabbed a croissant and went to my bike. "Hey Rose, shall I drive you?" Nancy asked as she came into the garage. "That would be very nice thanks," I said and went into the car.

After a silent car ride she let me out in front of Billy's house. I rang. Nobody opened. I already wanted to turn around as the door opened. It wasn't Billy. It was a redhead. She had wavy hair, freckles all over her face, light blue eyes and a friendly smile.

"Max," I said and tried to smile but it doesn't reach my eyes. "Is everything fine? Why are you here?" She asked curious. "So, umm actually I wanted to see Billy..." I stumbled. "BILLY? What do you want from him? You didn't sleep with him, right? I just want to warn you! He is a piece of sh..."
"Woah Max, calm down! We didn't sleep together. He's just... he's just the only one who understands me and knows what I'm going threw. To cut things short I really have to see him." I said.

"I'm so sorry Rose but he's not here." She said.
"Oh well, I better get going," I said, laughed hysterically and turned around.

"Wait. Maybe you want to see this."
I turned around to her. She symbolized me to come in. I followed her into a bathroom. El, who was standing in Billy's room searching something, came to us. "So um, the bath is filled with ice cold water. Isn't that strange?" Max told and showed me the bath. "Blood,"
"What?" I asked El. "There is blood," she replied and pointed on a cabinet handle.

She opened it and took a red lifeguard waist bag out off the garbage. In it was a whistle covered with blood. "What have you done Billy?"

Max and El had the plan to go to the pool and to ask my colleagues if they knew the owner of the waist bag. I told them that I can't come with them because Karen told my boss that I was sick.

Max opened the door. Shit, it was raining. And I had to walk home. "See you girls! And tell me everything when you know more about Billy," I shouted and walked outside the door and into the rain.

The water ran down my body. My hair was wet. Individual drops curled from my hair and streamed over my face. I was soaked to the bone.

Suddenly a car drove slowly next to me. A window opened. "Rose?" The driver asked. I turned my head. It was Steve. "What are you doing here and why are you all alone in the rain. You'll get sick!" He asked me. He stopped the car and opened the door to the passenger seat. Thankfully I sat down and closed the door. "Do you mind if I smoke?" I asked him. "I heard the thing with Eddie," he said instead of answering my question and looked at me. "Please don't talk about him," I said and looked at the ground. Flashbacks we're rushing again threw my mind.

"Shall I drive you home or do you want to come with me to the Starcourt. Maybe an ice cream for free?" He suggested. I thought about it. Maybe doing something different would distract me from my PROBLEMS. "Do you mind if I come with you?" I asked him. He shook his head. "I got you with the ice cream didn't I?"

"Can I smoke now or not?" I asked him again. "I didn't knew you're smoking again..." He said. I just lifted my shoulders and lighted the cigarette.

"Rose, we're here, get out!" Steve said and I looked around me. He was right we were standing in front of the Starcourt. "You can find Scoobs without me right? I'll come after you, I just have to park the car." He said. So I jumped out off the car and ran into the shopping mall. It was still raining heavily.

"Rose, what brought you here?" Robin screamed happy to see me. "Steve found me and promised me that I can get free ice cream," I said and tried to smile. My face moved to a smile but I couldn't feel it in my heart. Robin made a big mix of almost every sort and gave it to me.

"Robin," I started to say. "Yeah," she replied. "He's gone," I stared at the wall behind her. "No, he wouldn't do that he loves you." She didn't understand. "HE IS GONE," I scream and wrap my arms around me."HE'S GONE! HE'S GONE," I repeat. Steve heard me and stormed in the room with a big bowl ice cream. "Hey, Rose everything is fine, calm down." He said and gave me the ice cream. I kept my mouth quiet.

"So guys, I'm here," a voice behind me said. I turned around. It was Erica Sinclair. Lucas little sister.

"What is she doing here?" I asked them. Then another one came threw the door. "Dustin?" I was confused. What was going on? Why was Erica wearing a helmet, knees and elbow protectors?
