Hello Dear Readers, Hope you enjoy this chapter.

Cadimus words hung in the air and Airne mentally shook her head double checking that she had heard correctly before finally speaking.

"I am not sleeping with you," her voice sounded more calm than she expected.

"Not like that," he scowled at her. "You're shaken up and I wouldn't take advantage."

"I don't care which way you intend it Cadimus, I am not sleeping with or next to you."

"Well you aren't sleeping on the floor."

"Then apparently I am not sleeping because I am not crawling into bed with my sworn enemy."

"Fine," he straightened. "You still don't have a choice on where you lay your head tonight. You are stuck here with me whether you like it or not."

"I don't" she said crossing her arms to match him.

"You can go back to the Dungeon if you like," Shot Cadimus, after she refused to budge.

"You're an asshole Cadimus Skylarr," she said lowly. She watched him struggle and was surprised when the pompous prince gave way.

"Fine," Cadimus ran a hand through his hair. "I'll sleep on the floor then."

"What?" Airne balked.

As if.

Cadimus, the great and haughty Cadimus was willing to sleep on the floor to make her feel more comfortable? That was not the Cadimus she knew.

The Cadimus you knew also wasn't the type to go around rescuing people.

Airne looked at her captor trying to figure out what angle he was playing.

-

Cadimus could see that Airne wanted to keep fighting him tooth and nail. He didn't doubt that it probably gave her a feeling of some semblance of normalcy to lock horns with him.

"I...I should be the one to sleep on the floor. This is your room, it's your bed."

Cadimus frowned at her as she sat down to make herself comfortable.

"I'm not letting a woman sleep on the floor."

"Oh for fucks sake Cadimus cut the bullshit of chivalry. It's not like I wasn't on the floor for the last two nights laying in a Dungeon." she said emphatically. "I'll manage just fine here. At least your floor  has a carpet."

"You're not sleeping on the floor," Cadimus almost growled in frustration.

"I am not sleeping in that bed."

"Well you aren't sleeping on my floor."

"Then I'll sleep somewhere else," she marched over to the door with every intent of walking out into the hallways.

"Airne," Cadimus went over to her and raised his hand. To her credit she didn't flinch much. He waved his hand and lifted her off the ground. She struggled against the spell.

"What are you doing?!"

"I'm done arguing," he responded dismissively and lay her down on the bed. He waved his hand again and soft ties appeared around her wrists

Airne looked down and started wriggling trying to get out of them.

Cadimus felt his blood heat and his body respond to the sight of her there tied up on his bed. He hadn't thought about that when he cast the spell. He had only thought about keeping her from marching out into the hallway and keeping himself safe from her claws at night.
