The phone rings a few minutes later.
"Hello?"
"Is this William?"
"Boris!"
"William! I did say I would call" he can practically see Boris' grin right now. "You did."
"Oh shit my dad is home I have to go home now."
"Oh ok, bye Boris."
"Oh and William, call me Borya only people who date call me borya." His stomachs did flips.
"Oh ok bye now, borya."
"Bye William!"
He went to bed that night on high he didn't know, it was foreign but welcomed. He was giggling Into his pillow and when he slept it felt like bliss.
Lately he has been having nightmares of the upside down but that night was perfect, no nightmare in sight.
A week went by of straight bliss and perfection with Boris. Lunches hidden dates disguised as sleepovers.
Will came down for breakfast. He was in a cheery mood and he made it down and got the smell of eggs, Johnathon was making breakfast.
Mom was on the phone. She said something to Jane that made her light up.
"Will! Mike and Nancy are coming for spring break!" One month, one month away.
He was ready for the day and then he got the most brilliant plan. He wouldn't be alone.
He went to his mom for permission, she knew his dad wouldn't be there for spring break and said yes.
So when he made it to school he asked him. Unraveling the plan and telling him about how mike was gonna come and he didn't want to third wheel his sister.
