"Help!" He cried out. William was getting carried away by the bat creatures. He ran towards him as fast as he could. But he was too late, at that second another came in and helped the first one and he was gone in a blink of an eye. Gone. All that was left was his rifle. "No." The rest fought the bats off a second ago and the rest that were alive retreated.

"William." He dropped to his knees. Joyce came and sat by him and cried too. When were you such a cry child? He thought to himself."I have to find him. He's still out there, no?" He cried there and he heard Joyce cry too.

He got up and tried to walk into the woods strapping the shotgun he did not know how to use onto his shoulder.

He got held back. It was that Hopper guy. " We have to keep on. If he's still alive he'll find us." Dmitri nodded along. "But I can't leave him out there alone, he's afraid of being alone!" He retaliates.

"I can't leave him alone, he's told me he's scared of being alone, being left behind, the cold and darkness!" He yelled again pulling facts. All related to the upside down. Except one.

"Hop. We have to go find my boy. Again." Joyce backed him up. "If we don't look for him and you're the reason I wouldn't be able to live with you" she says coldly. They started arguing and the older kids butted in at some point.

Mike butted in, "well how do we know if he's alive? The bats work pretty fast." "How could you say that?" He says. Mike shrinks abit "I was just saying…" they started going back and forth for who knows how long. "What if he's dead?" Mike says. "He's not. And we both know he will fight to the very end." He says.

He didn't know how long he fighted with these people. Before he heard a gunshot in the distance. Then he saw it. He saw a line of color coming from in the woods then a colored firework. Not really a firework. A shot from a flare gun! "That's him!" He yelled. He tried to run but Mike held him back.

Mike held him by the collar. " what the fuck are you doing." He said "he's out there we have proof. ''This caused another fight to happen. This time it's physical. "Again with the 'what if it's a trap?' No? Or are you going to say something different? Tell me if I am wrong." He punched him in the face and then gave him a second to respond. Mike just looked him in the eye. Not making a peep.

"Well what if it is and this entire plan goes down hill and the world goes to shit." Mike yells. "So what! He is out there! He has to be!" He felt Mike put his hand on his arm and grip it. "Dont you fucking touch me american." He spat. And thrusted his arm away from the boy. "I can't let you go! The woods are not safe!" Mike yelled.

"I don't care. I need to see him. He's out there." Why won't he let him go? What is wrong with him? "What is wrong with you." It was more of a statement than a question. He took a minute to see that others were fighting as well and some like Baldman, Dmitri, Steve, big curly haired guy. They were just on the sidelines. He guessed that they didn't know William that well. Screaming, yelling, all echoing.

"I'm fucking leaving. Later, Michael. Don't follow." He says. And he grabs a dagger on top of a stick. He turns towards the trees. How was he going to find him? There were the drag marks. Then he saw him. Slightly bloodied, bruised, but overall looking okay, "William!" He yelled and ran over. William muttered something while he was running over  that he couldn't decipher.

"William, are you ok?" He asked, but it didn't seem he was listening. Sort of like if he was there but not mentally. He then felt something against his leg, "dogs!" He heard Michaels sister yell. He jumped when he saw it was another weird monster. Michaels sister yelled something again then she was about to shoot before William yelled again, "It's fine! They're fine! They're mine!" What. The. Fuck. William started explaining the situation, something about possession, he didn't understand what he was saying. He was just happy William was safe.

All I wanted to do was hug him. But I didn't want to hurt him.

All I wanted to do was kiss him. But I didn't want William to be uncomfortable with all these people.

He engulfed him in a loose hug, he could hug very tight but he didn't want to hurt William. "eep" was all he heard and all he needed to get off the poor boy. "Oh my Gods I am so sorry. Please forgive me. I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you!" He wipes a stray tear from his face. Crying so much. Men don't cry. Shut up. Stop. "No, no, I just didn't expect it." William said. He mumbled to himself an "are you sure?" That William probably didn't hear.

He remembered about the weight on his shoulders. "Here." He mumbled before passing William his rifle. He looked William in the eye and saw a bit of distraught in them. He's fighting the thoughts.

Joyce joined them when she felt safe around the demodogs[?]. He didn't know what to call them other than that. "Don't do that ever again you hear me! I will tape you to my back if I have to!" She starts kissing him after she gives him another hug. "Mom!" William yells.

he pulled Boris into the hug. He felt warm. Happy for once. Without drugs. Without alcohol. Pure happiness. Soon came Jonathon. He hugged William as well.
