Chapter 11. work of art

You confessed your affair to your brother.

And help you, god, he didn't take it well.

Not at all.

You'd never seen him so angry and upset at you before. You could tell he was disappointed in you.

He was pacing around the living room trying to comprehend why on earth his little sister would get involved with a man like Kylo.

"I get you're upset, but I'm old enough to know what I want in my life" you said rubbing your face, trying to get rid of the tiredness in your eyes. " We didn't mean this to happen"

Vic nodded letting you know he was at least listening to you "I just need some time"

You muttered 'okay' and headed back to your room.

It was finally Saturday and you couldn't wait for Kylo to pick you up. You were already dressed for the occasion, you were wearing a midi dress with your favourite trainers.

Kylo pulled up in his sleek black car and you stepped on it, letting your weight plop down on the seat.

"Hi" you leaned down pressing a swift kiss on his cheek that made his eyes flutter.

"Hi, baby. How are you feeling? Meds doing their job?" He asked placing his hand on your thighs as he started driving,

"Yeap, you nodded, everything's fine..." your mind drifted to Vicrul. Everything wasn't fine.

"You don't sound so sure" he prodded as he took a turn and headed towards a big park. It was lit dimly with small bulbs hanging from trees. It looked like a fairy tale.

"Yeah, it's just that I have to go get my prescription this week" you didn't lie to him, but you hid the real reason behind your worry.

The car was already parked as you made it out and he held your hand, guiding you towards the entrance. It was weird to be with him in public and honestly, it scared the shit out of you. What if somebody saw you?

Kylo had it all planned out anyway. You walked through the entrance following a path that lead both of you to a private area.

"Where are you taking me?" You said curious, not knowing where this was going.

"You'll see, be patient" That's when a man all in black stood in the way, only letting you walk by when Ren showed his ID. The path was now surrounded by greenery. You couldn't anything but tall bushes and the snake-like way. You gasped when you saw the wooden gazebo with a beautiful baby blue roof.

Warm lights lit the area and some food and red wine were waiting for you on a table in the gazebo.

This was definitely the most romantic place Kylo had ever taken you to.

And he wouldn't admit it, but it was his first time too.

You both sat next to each other on one of the beautiful benches.

"You like it?" He said a bit nervous he might've gone too far.

"It's perfect" you sheepishly said as you took a sip of your wine.

Dinner was perfect. You both talked about your favourite books and how those stories influenced your work. Kylo told you about how he's not been directing for a while now and can't wait to be back where the magic happens.

"You should definitely go for it. I've loved what I've seen so far" you said making him blush. He tried to hide it with a cough but you saw through him.
