They told me I couldn't enter the hospital again unless I calmed down.
So I punched them in the fucking face and knocked three of their teeth out.
Do I regret it? Fuck no. Try and tell me I can't enter now with a lisp. 'Thir, tou canth tho in.'
But it still wasn't that fucking smart of me because now, I'm not allowed back in.
For the past 12 hours, I've been sitting on the cement, outside of the hospital. I swear my fucking spine is deteriorating from sleeping on the goddamn sidewalk. The night has turned into day and sitting under the hot summer sun has made me fucking miserable beyond belief.
But I refuse to leave. I'm not leaving until Aurora is with me.
Three security guards stand at the entrance, with the sole purpose of just not letting me in.
But, I attempt to sneak past anyway. I keep my head down and slip my hands into my pockets, following a mother and a daughter that were entering right now.
I'm supposed to be Aurora's protector. I'm supposed to never let any harm get inflicted on her, ever.
And I failed. My family's sins landed her in the fucking hospital. My dad said he was going to talk to the current don - he told me his name is Milo. He's gonna ask him to pull security footage to see if he or my dad recognizes his face.
Last night was a night the unknown killer didn't strike. No innocents lost their lives.
But if anything happens to Aurora, they will. I will burn the entire earth to the ground and leave nobody left alive. If she can't live, fucking nobody can.
"Hey - nice fucking try, buddy," one of the security guards steps in front of me, and pushes me back by my chest.
If there weren't cameras and witnesses I would tear him apart limb by limb for keeping me away from you, Aurora.
"Relax," I raise my hands up in a surrendering motion. "I've just gotta take a piss."
The guy scoffs and looks to the side, "Yea right."
"I've been out here all fucking night," I gesture to the sidewalk behind me. "12 fucking hours of holding it in. All I need is just five seconds, man. And if you don't fucking let me then...."
I point at his shoes, "That looks like a good place to take a piss."
He rolls his eyes, and I smirk.
"Whatever. You'll get three seconds," he says irritatedly. I force a smile and nod.
He grabs onto my arm, and the other two guards follow close behind as I step back into the hospital. We turn down a hallway and walk toward the bathroom signs.
"Be quick," he snaps, releasing my arm as we stop in front of the door.
I say sarcastically to him, "You can come in and hold my hand while I do it if you're gonna miss me that much."
He doesn't seem to like my joke too much. He pushes the door open, and then shoves me inside.
I walk further in, and stop in front of a sink. I slowly look up at the mirror, looking at my reflection.
The bags under my eyes were prominent. I looked like a goddamn dead guy. My blonde hair was messy from the sidewalk and the wind that blew all night. My clothes had some smudges of dirt against them, which I started rubbing out before running my hands through my hair to detangle it.
I didn't need to piss. I pissed outside when nobody was around.
My eyes scan all four corners of the ceiling. They dance around, looking at the tiling. The left corner catches my eye, and I enter the stall below it.
