Percy's POV:
Annabeth feel asleep in my arms. I know what the coin means. I know what her mother did.
And I am not happy whatsoever about it.
Before I would have been willing to forgive Athena for her transgressions. But now, she went against milady's domains and against my morals. She hurt her own daughter, her own family. And for what you may ask.
A stupid fucking statue.
Yes a statue is worth more than her own kids in her books. A statue she lost. You would think if it mattered so much she wouldn't lose it, but no. That's not how she does things.
I was still fuming about the situation when Thalia came in. She looked tired and seemed even more dedicated to finishing her training.
Thalia got in bed and I shifted Annabeth over to her.
"You ok forest boy" she asked
That's new. "No. I need to vent" I responded leaving the tent.
I could hear Thalia sigh as if she forgot she needed to vent as well. But nonetheless as I was closing the tent door I saw her snuggle up with Annabeth.
"My pup. Have you forgot your training" mother Lupa asked
I glared at effectively my third or well forth, if you count Artemis and Diana separately, mother. "I need to vent" I stated simply still holding my glare.
She began circling as did her wolves. Suddenly one came in for an attack and I ducked under the wolf and placed my hands on its underside and sent the wolf flying into two others. "I am not in the mood for physical training Lupa" I said as my hands caught fire.
Lupa's most loyal wolves immediately tucked tail and started backing away from me. Even Lupa was suddenly more hesitant. I brought my hands up, knowing the fires I ignited were probably why. But they never reacted this way before when I did that.
However once my hands came into view, I knew why immediately. My hands were a blaze with Greek Fire. Something that can even significantly harm and possibly kill the immortal gods.
"Get me a fire pit" I said calmly, and Lupa's wolves immediately went off and made a fire pit.
Two wolves dug a 6 inch deep hole with a diameter of 18 inches. The dirt from said hole lined the top edge. Other wolves started building a stone ring around the edge of the hole just for extra protection. And the rest came back with firewood.
"Leave me" I ordered. Only Lupa remained as I started a camp fire. It may be small but it was enough to speak to milady.
As soon as I started the fire, I sensed milady's calming presence. "Milady Hestia" I started, "please come to your champion"
The fire rose up to a height of 30 feet and quickly shortened to only a few feet, opposite of me poking at the fire, sat the 8 year old form of milady Hestia.
"Milady" I bowed slightly
"Perseus please stop with the titles" Hestia said
"I have a request of you" I stated.
Hestia looked confused, "usually this goes the other way around" she stated
"I'm aware" I responded
"Well then my champion what is your request" Hestia asked, curiosity laced in her voice.
"I trust you sensed what happened between Annabeth and her...former mother earlier" I stated, only receiving a nod in return.
"My request is that you adopt Annabeth as yours" I asked. "I know she'll still have to do the quest, but it will put my mind at ease if you adopt her, and give her at least some semblance of direct family outside of Thalia and I"
Hestia hummed in thought. "You know my champion. I will have to have Annabeth's approval. For this action"
"I'm aware milady"
"I'll think about it" Hestia said. "Perhaps tweak my sister's plans in regards to your in person introduction to Rome"
"Thank you milady" I said
"Go rest my champion" Hestia told me. "I believe Annabeth needs you both right now"
I nodded and returned to my tent to get some sleep with Thalia and Annabeth.
"Its an honor to see you again Lady Vesta" I heard Lupa speak before I was in my tent.
I silently made my way over to the open side of the bed and tried to get in quietly as to not disturb my resting girlfriends. But Thalia was still awake anyway.
"You better" she asked
"A bit" I responded as Annabeth maneuvered in her sleep to be comfortable in between Thalia and I.
"That's good" Thalia responded. As she laid her head closely to Annabeth's and shutting her eyes.
I decided on doing the same as I could feel the weight of the day's length befall upon my physical form to rest.
