Percy's POV:
I got us out to open waters and went to get the relevant map I would need. I charted a course to take us up to the Hubbard glacier. I brought out the map, a compass, and a stopwatch. I gave the items to Hazel and Frank telling them to man the helm.
Frank went and grabbed the helm but looked confused at my orders Hazel was looking over the map with the charted course.
You alright brother Arion asked for once not using curse words and sounding genuinely concerned. I almost thought he was an imposter.
I'm not sure I replied in thought, entering my quarters. I grabbed a bucket that was on the floor and immediately started coughing up blood again. I did this last night at Franks place into the sink. It always comes after I over exert my powers. Yesterday was a long day and today well...telling the ship to fire and reload a full broad side three times is not as easy on the powers as you may think.
I coughed up more and more blood praying to the gods that it will stop soon, even though I know this will continue till I'm either dead or...well I think you understand. The fates have only kept me a demigod this long because I am needed amongst them more than I am needed amongst the rest of the family. Looking at the blood I'm coughing up however isn't pretty. While it is in large part red, as mortal blood should be, I can see speckles of gold with in the sea of red. I'm coughing up ichor, the blood of the immortals, something which shouldn't be possible.
It took 20 minutes and a quarter-full bucket of blood for the coughing to stop. I sighed tied a rope onto the bucket and thew it overboard to clean it out. I pulled the bucket back up and poured the sea water overboard.
"Hey Percy are you ok" I heard Hazel ask from the other side of the door.
"I will be. Just continue the course I charted" I replied back. "I just need some rest"
I'll take over the ship speed for you brother. You should rest with what you're going through. Arion replied. I rather reluctantly gave control over the speed of the ship to him, before falling asleep and truly allowing my body to rest after days of being up with no sleep. I love my mother and uncle. But I swear their domains hate me sleeping when they are present.
Time skip: Hush little Percy don't say a word. I'm going to take you to the future
Percy: call me little again and I'll kill you time skip
Me: *giggles*
Time skip: 14 told me too
Me: hey. Don't make me fire you again. Now back to your regularly scheduled book
I woke up to an insistent shoving. "Percy wake up" Hazel muttered
I rolled over wanting to go back to sleep. "Percy wake up please. Arion dropped the anchor" Hazel said this time with a harder shove.
I grumbles something unintelligible, even to my own thoughts, before what she said hit me. I practically leapt out of bed and exited my quarters to see that we were indeed anchored. And all but a mile or two away was in fact Hubbard glacier.
"What day is it" I asked
"Same day as it was a few hours ago, when we left Vancouver, Percy" Frank said nervously and covering his crotch.
I stared at him in confusion as to why he was covering his crotch. "You almost castrated him in your sleep when he went to try and wake you up" Hazel said covering her mouth with a hand, trying not to laugh by my guess.
"Ohhh...well I was raised by the hunt so it makes sense...sorry about that anyway" I said, trying to brush the issue aside. "Anyway we shouldn't be here until morning"
