It's so strange to be so comfortable around you yet so on edge
At the end of my despair lies you
Your eyes fresh and blue like summer rain,
Your smile is like aged champagne

I'd like to think I'll remember you though I doubt I will,
Even when trying to write this in at a loss for words

No words can describe how I see you
Everything fails me when I try,
Everything except for one thing;
The sun

You're as beautiful as the sunrise,
The pavement below melts under your piercing gaze
No weeds dare to visit your realm of existence

Though I have to admit,
I'm so sorry to have met you

I know you're just another inevitable heartache,
One that has me sleeping away my dreams

But I won't regret a thing, and I thank you for that
