Cavity

You seem to have a film of sorrow wrapped around your mind
How insecure you may be, I will never understand

But if you must cry, allow me to comfort you when the sun and moon are no longer in balance

I'll hold your body tenderly,
and let you talk of your worries
I would kiss every freckle, every bruise, every blemish, and every scar gently as I sink into the air that holds your soul

Until you are drifting calmly into your unconscious mind, I shall remain in the corners of your heart waiting for when you may need someone to care for you

For you are my favorite cavity to be blessed with
