You don't know what your talking about.
Something that I hear constantly, like a daily reminder that I'm insufficient

They keep droning on like a heavy rainstorm, not letting me warm up
Just continuous cuts on my already damaged mind

The bass is beating against my eardrums, trying to drown out the sound, but it never works

The poison always will slip through the cracks, making everything it touches ache and cry out silently
Never letting the melody cover the feeling, but you fight yet again
Trying to stay afloat
Trying to breath
Trying to survive
Covering your ears like a small child

But still it's heard
Just ignore her, she's upset and looking for attention
She isn't worth your time
The foul words drip with black ink
You need to escape

Try to focus on the sight of the haven
Try to ignore the acid in your blood
Try to ignore the ignorance and tears

You start to think it's all over, but the haven isn't worth the hope
Everywhere you go,
everyone you talk to,
Will always fill the aluminum goblet with fire and blood, never letting it run out.

You start to think it's all over, but the haven isn't worth the hopeEverywhere you go, everyone you talk to,Will always fill the aluminum goblet with fire and blood, never letting it run out
