Easy on me

It was a few weeks later. Meredith was still grieving about her miscarriage, but didn't want to tell anyone about it.

'Grey, can you take the patient in bed 4?' Owen asked. She went to the man's bed and looked at his chart.
' Hi Mr. Johnson, I'm Dr. Grey.' The man didn't really look nice and only nodded. ' We'll run some test to find out what is causing you headac...' before she could finish the man coded. ' Get me a crash card!' Mer yelled. And started compressions. They were able to get his heartbeat back and brought mr. Johnson to the ICU. Amelia was paged too, she look if his headaches and coding had a neurologist cause, and that was the case. Luckily she didn't have to operate on him.

A few days later Meredith was going upstairs with the elevator, Mr. Johnson stood next to her waiting for the elevator. Meredith recognized him and started talking to him.
When the elevator was there they both went into it, no one else was there.
As soon as the doors closed, Mr Johnson walked up to Meredith, she felt threatened by him and took a few steps back until she was standig against the wall, with Mr Johnson now standing in front of her, making sure she couldn't get away. She closed her eyes, what was he gonna do?
The grabbed her harshly and started to beat her up. She fel on the ground, her head hit the wall of the elevator and she became unconscious. The elevator arrived and the man got out, leaving Meredith laying on the ground.

No one had seen her laying on the ground and the elevator went down again.
Alex was waiting for the elevator and could not believe what he saw when the doors opend.
'Meredith!' he screamed, and ran toward her, kneeling down next to her. He felt for a heartbeat but couldn't find one. 'Get me a crash card NOW!' he yelled. Nurses began to ran and came with one. Then Richard walked around the corner, as soon as he saw the scene he ran to Mer and Alex. 'Page 911 to Shepherd and Bailey!' he yelled, 'Hurry!'

Amelia and Miranda arrived in a minute. They did everything they could, and Merediths heartbeat came back. They got her to the ICU and made her as comfortable as they could. Mer still wasn't conscious. ' Has anyone paged Nick yet?'
Maggie asked, she came with Amelia when she heard it was Meredith was was injured. ' I'll page him.' Amy answered.
A few minutes later Nick ran into to room.
'What he heck happened!' he yelled. ' Who did this?'
' She got beatten up in the elevator' Alex said. 'I don't know who did it, but when I do, I' ll beat him up, just like he did to Mer!'
Nick walked toward the bed and took her hand in his. Mer looked so tiny in the big bed. Her whole face was swollen and red.
'Nick...' Meredith wispered.
'Nick, where are you?' she panicked.
'I'm right her Meri.' he said.
'I can't see you... it's dark.' she cried.
