H,

"Can I ask you something, Harry?" The young girl asked me.

"Sure!" I replied as I distributed the orange juices they had requested earlier.

"You know Zayn Malik, right?" She asked. "Is he single?"

I froze at the question, looking at his young girl. She was pretty with red hair, green eyes, and a freckled face. Sitting at a table with four more girls, possibly her friends, she looked eagerly at me, as if I had the key to the kingdom. She was young. Too young to be asking these questions about an older man.

Especially, because that man was mine.

"Well..."

"Or you, for that matter..." Another girl asked looking right at me. She had beautiful braids coming down her shoulders and even more beautiful chocolate skin, with vibrant makeup. Was that glitter under her brown bone? "I'm Marcia, by the way."

I looked at all of them with surprise. Suddenly my age weight on me. I was ashamed once the realisation that these girls (I'm guessing 16,17 or 18 years old) were fawning over me and Zayn.

I gave my attention to the redhead.

"Well, aren't you a bit young to be asking that? Zayn's 28."

She shrugged, picking up her straw.

"Age is just a number."

"It's not when it could be a factor in going to jail." I reprimanded. I needed to play it cool. To the outside world, Zayn and I were both bachelors, single and looking to mingle. Not mingling with one another. So, I reeled it in a bit. "Listen, Zayn is going through a divorce. I don't think dating someone else, is a part of his plans."

"But do you think I'd be his type?"

No. You wouldn't. He likes them tall, with dark hair, green eyes, a killing smile, and a big cock.

Like me!

"I'm not sure..."

"Well, you're his friend, right?" A brunette asked with a frown. "You've been around him with your friends, right?"

"Erm, yes..."

"I heard Niall has a girlfriend now." Another blonde one asked with saddened eyes. "Is that true?"

"What about Liam? Is he still hanging about with that old bat Cheryl?" Another asked.

What was happening? I felt genuinely confused and alarmed at this situation.

"How about a rebound? I heard that a good way to deal with a divorce is by rebounding with someone else." The redhead inquired again with a smile. The rest of the table giggled. "I'm in for a rebound with Zayn."

"Are you in for a rebound?" The girl with the braids asked again. I noticed she had little beads on them. The girl was beautiful, but the way she stared down at me made me fear for my safety. "I'm down if you're down."

"No, I'm not," I answered promptly. When did these girls get so forward? "Listen, Zayn has a lot on his plate now with the divorce. He won't have any of that. So, I suggest you look for someone more of your age group and save yourself the trouble."

I walked back to the counter to pick up the sandwiches Annette was finishing. I felt odd after this interaction. I mix jealousy and offence with no real definition.

I must've had a certain look on my face, replaying the interaction with the group of young girls.

"What's wrong, Haz?"
