The school day continued as normal. And at the end of the day, Barry traveled back to his new apartment. Once he arrived, Barry consults Gideon.
Gideon: "GOOD EVENING, BARRY ALLEN."
Barry: Alright, Gideon. What've you found out so far?
Gideon: "WELL, I'VE FOUND OUT THE EARTH YOU TRAVELED TO IN THE MULTIVERSE, IS EARTH 5102."
Barry: Okay, very informative.
but how do I get back to my normal age, and get back to Earth 1?
Gideon: "I'M NOT SURE ABOUT THE FORMER.
BUT IN ORDER FOR YOU TO GET BACK HOME TO EARTH 1, THAT WOULD DEPEND ON HOW YOU GOT HERE."
Barry: Well...
A flashback shows the S.T.A.R. Labs building in Central City. Inside, the Reverse Flash stands in front of a device, radiating with mysterious energy.
Thawne: Just a few more seconds, and the tachyon enhancer will be fully charged.
The Flash bursts into S.T.A.R. Labs.
(WHOOSH!)
Flash: Give it up Thawne, it's over! Whatever you're planning, it ends here!
Thawne: Sorry, Flash. But unfortunately for you, you're too late to stop me.
Flash: We'll see about that!
(WHOOSH!) (ZOOOOM!)
The Flash and Reverse Flash charge at each other, they speed around the lab and launch each other into lab equipment.*
(Battle dialogue)*
Flash: You're not going to escape this time, Thawne!
Thawne: And who says I'm going too?
Flash: What's that supposed to mean?
(WHOOSH!) (ZOOOOM!)
They both speed out of the lab, and race all around the city.*
Thawne: Why do you think I stayed at S.T.A.R. Labs?
Thawne: I knew you'd show up! And now all that's left is to get one last thing for my plan to succeed.
Flash: I'm not going to let that happen!
The Flash runs so fast he blows past Reverse Flash and disappears into a ball of electricity.
(Zzzzzzt!)
Flash: AAAAAAAHHHH!
(KRAAK-THOOM!)
Thawne turns around and stops, realizing what just happened.
Thawne: No! That wasn't part of the plan!
The Flash looks around confused, once he realized he was running through the Speed Force. He tries to concentrate on Earth 1 and rushes forward, but a flash of light hits him and he ages a decade backwards, in an instant. He ends up zooming out of the Speed Force. And with that, the flashback ends.
Barry: And that's all I can remember before I got here.
Gideon: "YOU MUST HAVE BEEN RUNNING SO QUICKLY WHILE YOU WERE CHASING REVERSE FLASH.
THAT YOU ACCIDENTALLY CATAPULTED YOURSELF INTO THE SPEED FORCE AND ENDED UP RUNNING THROUGH THE MULTIVERSE."
Barry: Then maybe, that's how I can get back to my Earth.
Gideon: "THEORETICALLY, YES. BUT EVEN IF YOU DO MANAGE TO GET INTO THE SPEED FORCE, EACH EARTH IN THE MULTIVERSE VIBRATES AT A DIFFERENT FREQUENCY."
Barry: I figured that part out when the time comes.
But why was there a patch of Still Force Particles inside the Speed Force, though?
Gideon: "I'M NOT SURE, BUT I KNOW THE STILL FORCE DOES SPAN THROUGHOUT THE MULTIVERSE,
JUST LIKE THE SPEED FORCE."
Barry: Maybe I can create a device to harness Still Force particles in the area.
Barry: Gideon, can you scan for any and all Still Force particles in Paris?
Gideon: "OKAY, BARRY ALLEN."
She closes her eyes and lifts her holographic head.
Gideon: "I HAVE DETECTED A LARGE AMOUNT OF STILL FORCE PARTICLES NEAR THE LOUVRE PYRAMID."
Barry: Okay, great! After school, I can head over there and investigate.
Gideon: "AND THE META-HUMAN KNOWN AS LADYBUG?"
Barry: She's not like the usual Meta-Humans I've fought, but I can handle her. Truth be told, I'm not so sure she is a Meta. However, it would be best to keep an eye on her, just in case.
He rushes off and changes into his pajamas.
Barry: Gideon, set the alarm at 6:00 for school, tomorrow.
Gideon: "OKAY, BARRY ALLEN."
Barry climbs into bed and falls asleep.
Meanwhile, on a secluded rooftop, Ladybug and Cat Noir regroup from patrol. But Cat Noir was getting tired.
Cat: (Yawn) M'lady it's getting late. We've combed the entire city, for two hours, looking for this new akumatized villain. And we haven't found one trace of him. (Yawn) Maybe we should just call it, for tonight.
Ladybug turns to her partner, disgruntled.
Ladybug: If you want to quit and go home, go right ahead!
But I'm not going home until after, I catch this guy!
Cat: What's the deal, Ladybug? You've been incapacitated by tougher villains before, how's this any different?
Ladybug grimaces at the brief flashback of her previous battle, where Flash punched her in the nose, blood dripping in her hand. She quickly snaps out of it.
Ladybug: It's nothing, I just... (Sigh) I really need to catch this guy, before he, (Yawn) causes anymore damage.
Cat: M'lady, even if you did find him tonight, you'd be too tired to fight him, you need to rest.
Ladybug: (Yawn) All right, Cat, you win. We'll try again tomorrow.
He nods and leaps away.
Ladybug swings off, too.
