Miraculous and The Flash crossover: Time Trouble. (Book 1)

Chapter 8

The sun sets over Paris, and the city lights up.

Now dressed in his superhero from, The Flash races towards the Louvre Pyramid with the finished device.

Flash: Okay Gideon, this is the place.
Are you sure that this is the greatest concentration of Still Force particles?

Gideon (CL): "AFFIRMATIVE, BARRY ALLEN."

Flash pulls out the completed device and scans the area.

Flash: It seems like there's a high concentration of Still Force particles inside of the museum. But where?

He runs inside, unaware that a certain red and black bug was watching him from a nearby rooftop.

Cat Noir lands a few feet from Ladybug, and walks over to her.

Cat: Hey there, Bugaboo. So what's up?

Ladybug: First off, stop calling me that. And second, I just spotted our new friend rushing inside the Louvre Pyramid.

Cat: What could he possibly want inside the museum?

Ladybug: I'm not sure. But I don't intend on waiting to find out.

She lassos a street lamp and lands on the ground, while Cat Noir leaps down and uses his staff to land.

Ladybug: Alright let's go, but be careful. Considering this guy's already taken me down, we don't know what he's capable of.

They head inside.

Cat Noir and Ladybug reach the center of the museum.

Ladybug: Where could he have gone? He could be anywhere in the museum.

Cat: I don't know. But there's still something I can't quite figure out, Ladybug.

Ladybug: What's that?

Cat: You said that Hawk Moth akumatized another victim, and that he can move really fast, right?

Ladybug: Yeah, so?

Cat: So, if he really was another akumatized supervillain.
Then why just leave you tied up, instead of taking your Miraculous?

Ladybug: Maybe he just wanted to wait until we both showed up to take both of our Miraculous.
He's probably got a trap waiting for us right now.

They head deeper into the museum.

Cat: M'lady, let's look at the facts. With his power, he could have easily taken your Miraculous, but he just tied you up and ran off? Something just doesn't add up.

Ladybug: I hate to admit it, but you're right. Why didn't he take my Miraculous?

Cat: Okay, now did you happen to see a moth-shaped emblem around his eyes while he was fighting you?

Ladybug: Now that you mention it, no.
He didn't have a Moth halo around his eyes while he was there. But he could still be a Sentimonster.

Cat: That could be possible, too.
But still, we can't be too sure that he is one.

Ladybug: Well, back to square one.

Ladybug glances around and notices a green glow.

Ladybug: Look, there's a light over! It's coming from the Egyptian exhibit.

Cat: Then let's go!

They run over to the exhibit.
