Miraculous and The Flash crossover: Time Trouble. (Book 1)

Chapter 14

In his lair. Hawk Moth was seething at the defeat of his latest akumatized champion.

Hawk Moth: You and your new friend might have bested me today, Ladybug. But once I have your Miraculous, nothing will stop me from making history!
And as for you, Flash. You might be fast, but you can't run forever. Soon, I'll have you at my feet!

The giant kaleidoscope window shutter closes and darkens Hawk Moth's lair.

At the Egyptian exhibit, Time Warp walks over to Alim.

Alim: What happened? Where's my daughter? I remember seeing her get knocked into the chemistry rack and she wasn't moving.
I must have struck her while I was akumatized.

Time Warp: Your daughter's fine, Da-Mr. Kubdel.
You were akumatized trying to protect The Flash.
But it's over, you're safe now, and so is Alix.

Alim: Who are you, and how do you know she's safe?

She pauses, and looks at the three heroes standing behind her. Cat Noir winks, Flash gives a thumbs-up, Ladybug smiles and nods. Time Warp looks back to her father.

Time Warp: My name is Time Warp, and I know she's safe, because your daughter...

Time Warp takes off her helmet.

Alix: Is right here.

Alim's eyes widen as he looks at the superhero in front of him.

Alim: Alix?

Alix: Yeah, Dad. It's really me, and what happened to me, wasn't your fault. Not entirely, at least.

Tears well up in Alim's eyes as he pulls Alix into a hug.

Alim: In all my years of expeditions.
You, Alix, have always been my greatest discovery.
I'd never be able to live with myself if something happened to you. I'm so glad you're safe.

A tear falls down the side of Alix's smiling face.

Alix: (Sniff) Thanks, Dad.

Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Flash watch the father and daughter from a distance.

Ladybug: I'm so glad Alix can have this moment with her father.

Flash: I'm just glad we were able to save Alix's father before he turned all of Paris into a desert.

Cat: Yeah, I agree with Flash. Besides, I like the litter-box I have now.

Flash sniggers while Ladybug rolls her eyes with a smirk.

Ladybug: Don't you ever get tired of making these cheesy jokes, Cat Noir?

Cat: Nope, because I know you never get tired, of making fun of them.

Flash: Ha ha, nice one, Cat.
But at least now, you two have seen for yourselves that I am hero. And not one of Hawk Moth's minions.

Ladybug: Yes we have, and thank you for your help. We couldn't have done it without you.

Flash: My pleasure. I look forward to working alongside both of you in the future.

He and Ladybug shake hands.

(Beep, beep, beep.)

Flash looks at Ladybug and Cat Noir holding their Miraculous.

Flash: What's with the beeping?

Ladybug: That means we only have five minutes left before we transform back into our civilian identities.

Cat: Yeah, can't let the cat out of the bag.

Flash: Well, you guys go, I'll stay here.
I have one last thing to finish up.

Ladybug nods.

Ladybug: See you next time, Flash.

As Cat Noir runs out, Flash stops Ladybug.

Flash: By the way, I know your secret.

Ladybug looks at Flash, nervously.

Ladybug: Uh, what secret?

Flash: That you're in love with Adrien Agreste.
But don't worry, you can trust me with your secret.
My lips are sealed.

Ladybug sighs, relieved.

Ladybug: Thanks.

Flash: No worries.

As Ladybug runs out, Flash turns back to the father and daughter.

Alim: Thank you, Flash. My daughter and I are both extremely grateful for your help.

Flash: Think nothing of it, Mr. Kubdel.
It's the least I could do.

Alix: But there's still one last thing we need to do.
I mean, it was fun being a superhero.
But, I think I've had enough heroics for one night.

Flash: Of course, Alix.

She taps on the symbol of her suit and is back in her everyday clothes.

She removes the symbol for the suit from her shirt, and tries to hand it to Flash, but he declines.

Flash: You keep it. Consider it a memento, "Time Warp".

Alix grins and chuckles.

Flash warms up the Particle Scanner.

Flash: Alright, here we go, for real this time.

Alim: Wait, this won't harm Alix, will it?

Flash: Absolutely not.
This device was made to extract only anomalous particles.
Trust me, once the device is finished, Alix be back to her old, tomboyish, non-superpowered, self.

Alim: Very well, proceed.

The Flash presses the button, adjusts the knob, and Alix's body starts glowing green. Alix holds out her arms, and the Still Force particles are absorbed by the device and a small green vial disperses from the bottom.

Flash: Yes, finally! And this time, I'll make sure to keep it safe.
Thank you both for your help.

Alix: Our pleasure, Flash. And thanks again, from both of us.

Flash knowingly nods and runs off.
