Parents day

Enid hated people having just the tiniest bit of fun with their parents because it's never happened to her.

The day has finally came "parent day" Nevermore called it. Enid hated it. It was worse seeing her parents everyday before going to nevermore. It's better that she only sees them half the time now.

i'll be fine , i just have to get through the day with them. Enid thought to herself as she cleaned her room in an hurry.

If even the tiniest bit of dirt is on her bed her mother with sink her claws into her arm. " are you okay?" a voice behind her spoke up. Wednesday. That has to be the first time Wednesdays ever asked that.

" im...fine ." Enid jerked her head around faking a smile. She couldn't tell Wednesday about her parents. How they hurt her. Or how their homophobic. Or even how they hate her.

" Enid!" Wednesday shouted. She had been calling her name for a while.

Enid snapped back to reality. She stood from her away from her side of the room to see if it looked clean enough.

" It's time to go parents are arriving." Wednesday spoke in a low voice.

Enids heart dropped as she stared as her shaking hands . Wednesday furrowed her eyebrows at the sight of the blonde girls hands.

" Enid are you sur-"

" Let's go!" Enid spoke up in a loud tone, " don't want to be late right?!" Enid faked a smile . Wednesday frowned .

As Enid and Wednesday stood beside each other . Waiting for their parents.

" Wednesday!" A voice spoke up from behind Wednesday.it was her mom. With Gomez behind her.

" Hello mother." Wednesday replied as her mother gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Enid felt like a needle was poking her heart as she saw the family cradle Wednesday.

" Oh hello! You must be...Enid right?" Gomez smiled before holding out his hand for Enid to shake.

" Yes..hello ." Enid spoke up her voice shaky. She faked a smile as she shook Gomez's hand.

" Enid." A cold voice spoke.

Enids stomach sunk as she widened her eyes. She knew exactly who's voice that was.

"Hello..mother." Enid replied in a cold tone. She turned to face her parents .

" Any luck wolfing out..?" Enids father muttered.

" No." Enid spat out. She knew to only reply with simple answers if else they'll get upset.

" Disappointing." Enids father continued sighing.

" Disappointing indeed . I don't understand why you can't be like your siblings." Enids mother sighed rubbing her eyes.

Enid wanted to cry , instead she just fiddled with her fingers.

" what about your dorm? Is that at least clean??" Enids father said.

" Yes." Enid replied.

Wednesday couldn't help but look at enid every often . She could tell she was worried . Not even worried , scared. It was hard to see enid moody for Wednesday. She felt empty , she hated seeing her upset.

Just as Wednesday was about to introduce her parents to Eugene she had seen enid and her prenatal heading for their dorm room.

" On second thought. How about we go visit my dorm instead?" Wednesday turned her attention to her parents.
