Enid hums the song while she places small little gems on her phone. She was bored, quite literally had nothing to do. She had her headphones in,
listening to Taylor Swift, "August" specifically. Which was the only song Wednesday tolerated.

Enid smiles at the memory, Enid was blasting the song for weeks, and Wednesday didn't comment on it like she did with the other songs. Enid even caught her humming the song, but she kept that to herself.

Speaking of Wednesday, where was she? Enid sets her phone down, her hand in her cheek as she thinks. Last she remembers Wednesday told her she had a family dinner, oh yeah, now she remembered. She sighs, it's been about an hour now, when was she coming back?

Enid lifts up her phone, typing.

HAS ANYONE SEEN BAE??🙏

OK THX DRACULA

Enid smiles, setting her phone back down, and just in time, the door opens. Enid spins in her chair, facing Wednesday, who did look like she was in a bad mood. Her hair was a bit ruffled up, jaw clenched, she almost immediately ripped her tie off, throwing it on her bed.

Enids smug expression immediately disappears, replaced with a concerning one.

"Everything okay?" Enid asks softly.

Wednesday doesn't answer, literally ignoring her. She instead grabs a towel, clothes, and heads off into the bathroom, slamming the door behind her, leaving Enid dumbfounded. Okay, what the hell?

Enid sighs, she was just in another one of her moods. If Enid could guess, Wednesday probably got into it with her mother at the dinner, which usually confuses Enid. Morticia was a good parent from the looks of it, Enid would kill to have a mother like that. Though she knew not to judge, Wednesday always has her reasons, she knew Wednesday wouldn't get upset like that unless she had a reason to.

Enid stretches, picking up all the gems she left on her desk, cleaning up her side of the room. That's the least she could do, she knew Wednesday didn't like messes. Enid checks her phone for the time, it was past nine. She jumps as bit as she hears the bathroom door open, revealing a more calmed down version of Wednesday, who looked liked she did a lot of reflecting in the shower.

"I apologize, for my outburst." Wednesday speaks up suddenly, snapping her fingers anxiously. Enid always thought it was cute when she did that.

Enid smiles gently, nodding.

"That's okay, it wasn't really an outburst, but, i take it something happened at dinner?" Enid asks, folding blankets.

Wednesday nods, looking away. Enid looks up at her, realizing she probably didn't want to talk about it. She sighs through her nose, Wednesday looked tired, well, she always looked tired but she liked more tired than usual.

Enid sits on her bed, Wednesday still not looking at her.

"Would you like to watch a scary movie on my laptop?" Enid suggests, grabbing her laptop from behind her.

Wednesdays ears peek up, she looks at the laptop, than at Enid.

"Only if it's on my bed." Wednesday says quickly.

Enid smiles, immediately grabbing her laptop and heading over, Wednesday as well. They both get settled in.

The rest of the night was filled with gore, though, Enid barely watched the movie. Mainly because she couldn't handle blood, but also because her eyes were on Wednesday. How she smirked a bit when a kill scene came on, or how she tore Enids hands away from her face during a scary scene, which made Enid giggle, a lot. Now they were laying next to each other, staring at the ceiling, sharing headphones. Pretty freaking romantic if you ask Enid.

Enid smiles, thinking of an idea. She grabs her phone, searching up the one Taylor Swift song Wednesday would tolerate. August. Once Wednesday hears it, she closes her eyes, enjoying the sound. She would rather die than admit she likes the song. Enid giggles, Wednesdays eyes shoot open, staring at Enid.

"What's so funny?" Wednesday asks, in an amusing tone.

"Nothing!" She giggles some more, covering her face.

Wednesday frowns, her hands coming up to gently tear them away from Enids face, who was now flushed.

Wednesday notices all her features, and little things Enid did. Cute things. How she giggled in class, the only sound Wednesday really liked. How Enid was always asleep somewhere, she looked really pretty when she slept. How she would blast music in her ears, thinking no one could hear when literally everyone could, though Wednesday wouldn't tell her that because she liked the way Enid looked when she was in her own world. She likes all of it, loves it even, loves Enid.

Wednesdays presses her lips together, burying her face in the crook of Enids neck, wrapping her arms around her. That one song blasting in both of their ears, Enids heart beating out of her chest.

Wednesday doesn't say a word, and Enid doesn't need her to, because this one gesture, said a lot. Enid gently rubs Wednesdays back, closing her eyes, Wednesday breathing softly on top of her. She always fell asleep so easily. Enid smiles, tightening her grip, the song coming to an end, and Enid couldn't help but restart it all over again.
