Wednesday huffs quietly, writers block, again. It's been happening more than often this past week. All because of her bright little roommate. So distracting.
Wednesday clenched her jaw, she hated being stuck. Maybe she should go on a walk? No she's had too much of those this week. Wednesday rubs her eyes in annoyance, hearing the bathroom door open from behind her.
Enid had gotten here about 10 minutes ago, only mumbling a "Hi" to Wednesday, and nothing else. Which got Wednesdays brain racing with thoughts, she didn't know why Enid was always on her mind 24/7. It all happened after that stupid hug.
Wednesdays hand ball up into a fist, not even hearing Enid hum a tune or talk to Wednesday about useless drama. Wednesday clears her throat, moving her hand to type a letter, but stopping herself, quickly turning around her chair.
"Where are you-"
Wednesday quickly trails off, quite literally shocked, but playing it off with a straight face.
Enid had a blood red dress on, split down on the thigh, glitter all over it but you could barely tell. She had her pretty blonde hair up in a ponytail, little strands sticking out. Her pale white skin glistening in the moonlight beaming from the window, her lips slightly parted slightly as she catches Wednesdays gaze, and Wednesday freezes. Enid was absolutely gorgeous.
Enid just smiles slightly, turning away to grab one of her many purses. All Wednesday could do was stare, until she uncomfortably shuffled in her seat, clearing her throat.
"Where are you going?"
Wednesday asks quietly, keeping her straight face, gripping the armchair quite hard.
"Yoko invited me to a party, don't really want to go though."
Enid sighs softly, resting her hands on her hips as she looks at herself in the mirror, specifically her body. Wednesday takes note of this, but keeps quiet.
"You seem rather..quiet today."
Wednesday musters, staring Enid up and down. Was she sick?
Enid grins, shaking her head.
"I didn't have a really good day."
Enid groans, throwing her head back with a slight chuckle.
Wednesday watches, looking over Enids body was admiration. The word 'beautiful' was the only word to describe Enid in this moment. Wednesday sees Enid's body tense up, crossing her arms as she looks at herself.
"Would you..like to talk to me about it?"
Wednesday coughs out, she despised being kind, but for Enid, she'd do anything.
Enid looks back, Wednesday seeing her face light up. She can also see Enid try to hold back, but she never can around Wednesday.
"Okay, so basically-"
Enid rants, sitting on her bed, seeming genuinely annoyed about what happened today, Wednesday listening to every single word. She could skip a few minutes of writing time.
After about 20 minutes, Enid was done, and she seemed to be feeling better. Enid sighs heavily; standing up and grabbing her purse.
"I'll see you later tonight."
Enid smiles, walking past Wednesday, who was still sat in her chair, admiring every single part of Enid before belting out.
"You look good in red."
Wednesday says without thinking, seeming caught in a trance. Enids face heats up slightly, beaming with happiness, she giggles. The sound Wednesday actually missed hearing.
"Thanks."
She turns back around, leaving without another word and closing the door. Wednesday heart beating fast as she leans back in her chair, staring at the ground.
Enid wore red the next day.
