Eugene feels the hot summer air hitting him. He was on the deck his feet in the water. He smiles as he sees rabbits run around on the other side of the lake. Suddenly he feels a body sit beside him.
" whatcha doin?" Nora smiles dangling her feet in the water. Eugene clears his throat.
" N-Nothing" He stutters.
" Hm, well ya can't be doing nothing right?"
" I guess." Eugene shrugs. Nora frowns and looks st him.
" what's wrong Gene?" Nora asks.
Eugene shakes his head and smiles.
" Nothing nora" He smiles warmly. Nora widens her eyes slightly before nodding.
" How come you didn't want to start the fire with us?" Nora asks.
" I like the water , it's peaceful." Eugene smiles at the sight of fish swimming around.
" It is isn't it." Nora smiles.
Eugene frowns again. " I also..didn't want to get teased by xavier.." Eugene says quietly.
" What? For what? Do you need me to beat him up again?" Nora puts her fist up. Eugene chuckles putting his hands up.
" No no, he was just teasing me about...you know for never kissing someone." Eugene says quietly. Nora looks at him before nodding.
" Xavier doesn't know nothing bout kissing! He got rejected by Wednesday 6 times!" Nora smiles.
" I know, i just kinda wish i could prove him wrong." Eugene sighs before smiling and leaning back. " it's whatever though."
Nora looks at him and speaks without kissing.
" we could kiss." Nora says quietly. Eugene widens his eyes and sits up.
" What?" He asks. Nora widens her eyes noticing what she just said.
" Uhm, i mean we have to prepare for when we get married right?" Nora chuckles nervously.
" Who would you get married to? We're in a middle of an zombie apocalypse." Eugene smiles raising his eye brow.
" Shut up" Nora rolls her eyes." Well.. should we?" Nora asks.
Eugene shrugs.
" if you want.." Eugene says trying to play it cool.
" I mean yea, to prepare of course!" Nora winks. Eugene chuckles.
Nora smiles before slowly leaning in.
" So..we're gonna-" before she could finish her and eugene bump foreheads together. They both leans back and rub their head.
They both laugh.
" That was a terrible try" Nora chuckles.
" Damn right" Eugene follows.
" Try again?" Nora asks. Eugene nods before slowly leaning in again. Nora follows.
They both quickly kiss, just a peck. They immediately pull away their faces flushed. Nora rubs her forearm nervous. Eugene rubs his neck before speaking.
" Hm, You could be a better kisser" Eugene shrugs trying to lighten the mood.
" Hey!" Nora shouts punching his arm. Eugene chuckles and rubs his arm.
" I bet you don't know what REAl kissing is!" Eugene smirks.
" Yes i do!"
" Oh oh really? The one where people HOLDDDD each other and FRENCH kiss! like Enid and Wednesday!!" Eugene teases. Nora laughs pushing eugene.
" They don't kiss like that!" Nora says.
" Have you seen them? They're all lovey dovey!"
" Mm i guess they are! I walked in on them making babies!"
" Gross!" Eugene fake gags.
They both laugh. Nora smiles before holding out her pinky.
" How about this, if we aren't married by 20 we have to marry each other. and we can do all that lovey dovey shit" Nora smiles deviously.
Eugene rubs his chin.
" I don't know if i would marry someone like you" Eugene smiles.
" Eugene!" Nora frowns.
" Okay okay! Yea fine." Eugene smiles and holds his pinky out. They pinky promise neither of them letting go.
" You promise?" Nora asks.
" I promise" Eugene smiles.
Nora smiles brightly before letting go and looking at the sunset. Suddenly they hear voices behind them.
" Hey guys." Enid calls out with Wednesday behind her. Enid sits next to nora while Wednesday sits next to eugene.
Wednesday ruffles Eugene's hair.
" Hey." Wednesday says. Eugene just smiles at her.
Enid puts her arm around nora brining her close.
" Sup lil demon " Enid smiles at nora.
" Hey!" Nora frowns, enid laughs.
" I'm joking!" Enid smiles.
Nora looks at eugene and laughs quietly.
" Do you and Wednesday FRENCH kiss?" Nora asks. Eugene frowns and looks up at Wednesday.
" Eugene." Wednesday says darkly.
Enid turns red while, nora chuckles.
" Well not told me she walked in on you guys making babies!" Eugene shouts at Wednesday.
" What?!" Enid shouts.
" No i didn't!" Nora shouts at eugene. Eugene smiles.
" You have 5 seconds." Wednesday says. Nora stands up and grabs eugene's hand as they run off together giggling.
