this chapter is based of the movie " Jack and the cuckoo heart" It's basically about a boy with a clock for a heart and there's three rules. Don't fidget with it, Control your temper, and never fall in love. And he breaks the rules by falling in love with an girl. He later is dying bc the pieces of his " heart" are falling apart and his lover comes to see his death. ANYWAYS ENJOY AND I HOPE ITS SAD.

There it was. The grave of Wednesdays mother. The one who always fixed her heart. The one who always have Wednesday hope. The one Wednesday always treated horribly.
Snow freezing against Wednesdays skin. She looked like an snow man. She had nothing but a black suit on. Wednesday stared at the grave. She wanted to cry, but she stayed strong.
She turned around looking at the town she was about to leave.
maybe i can still make it.
Maybe i can find someone to fix my clock.
She takes a step forward then immediately falls back. The pain was too much for her. It was a miracle she ended up standing. Enid pulled up in a carriage her eyes filled with worry. She jumped out . The man warned her about the place being haunted but she didn't care. She cared about Wednesday.
Enid ran up the path and suddenly found her lover. On the ground holding her heart. Snow was frozen against her skin. She was shivering.
" Wednesday!" Enid calls out running towards the girl.
She dropped down immediately holding the pale girl in her arms.
" Wednesday...i'm here now!" Enid says. Her voice wobbly. She cups Wednesdays cheek. Wednesday looked up. Her face was covered in snow.
She pulls out an missing piece of Wednesdays heart out of her pocket and places it on Wednesday clock. She takes the key and attempts to turn the clock out wednesday stops her.
" Wednesday, i'm not to late" Enid says .
" i can back to save you!" Enid smiles sadly.
" You already saved me." Wednesday says. Her voice raspy and low.
" no no! Leave this to me. let me give your heart the turn of the key." Enid attempts to turn Wednesdays heart but Wednesday stops her again.
" You came all the way back for me." Wednesday starts holding Enids hand and lowering it. " That's the most extraordinary turn you could ever give my heart." Wednesday finish's. More snow falling on her.
Wednesday takes the key out of Enids hand . " thank you" Wednesday says before throwing the key into the snow.
" No!" Enid gasps.
" From now on whatever happens to me i'll only have myself to blame." Wednesday says. A small smile forming. " So now you can kiss me.." Wednesday smiles. A sad smile.
Enid looks at her with sad eyes , tears falling down her cheek.
" but you'll die!" Enid says through her small sobs.
" I was going to anyway. Please enid, let me die happy." Wednesday smiles cupping Enids cheeks.
More tears fell down Enids cheek as she leaned it. Their lips touched. It was soft. It was sweet. It was their first and last kiss. Wednesday pulled away.
" I love you cara mía." Wednesday whispers as enid sobs. Suddenly Wednesday stopped breathing.
Enid gasped .
" Wednesday?! Wednesday please!" Enid shouts shaking the girl. Her skin was white and her lips were purple. Suddenly her clock heart breaks , All of the pieces flying out of Wednesday.
" No no no no!" Enid cries picking up the pieces . She attempted to put the pieces back in her but of course it didn't work.
" WEDNESDAY!" Enid shouts. She hugs the girl sobbing into her shoulder. The girl was cold.
" i love you too.."
