When you think you have it all, you can lose it all. Even yourself. My name is Henry and this is the story of how I got here.
I live in Buckingham Palace with my wife Elizabeth, and my daughter Catherine. Catherine is five years old. Elizabeth is 23. I turned 25.
Elizabeth's parents passed away. It was a depressing day. They passed the titles of King and Queen to us. A funeral occurred.
Elizabeth decided to say a few words. "They weren't perfect people. We would sometimes argue over small things. It pushed me to make the decision to run away. I believe that caused them to change. Also they were followers of Christ so I believe that they are in heaven with God. I am glad I was their daughter." She said,
A couple days later of mourning, a coronation happened. Elizabeth became Queen.
Months passed. Life was amazing for some time. An accusation was made against Elizabeth. It was for Betrayal of the crown.
Late one night I awoke to the police coming into my room. I asked them why they came into my room. They said that they were asking for Elizabeth, they had a warrant for her arrest. Betrayal of the crown was the reason. Later they walked out of the room.
After they left I found a note they didn't find.
"I am sorry that I am doing this but if I am found I will be arrested. During my absence take care of my duties as King of England. Protect Catherine no matter what happens. I wish I didn't have to escape but if anything bad happens to me just know that I love you and Catherine."
Days went on from that night. I got to spend time with Catherine in the Palace. We played, talked and I fooled around to make Catherine laugh. It worked for most of the time.
I also did the business everyday that Elizabeth did every day as queen. I wanted to go and look for her but I couldn't. I had a child with me. I hope that Elizabeth is okay and not dead.
Today I got information. Elizabeth has been captured, she will be getting a trial tomorrow. I decided to go and visit her in prison.
I walked in and the prison cell looked awful, and uncleaned. Elizabeth was a mess too. Her face was covered in dust, her arms and legs were bruised, and the dress Liz was wearing had lots of holes.
"How did you know that they would be after you?" I asked her.
"I had a dream of what would happen if I stayed in the Palace. I guess you saw what happened." Elizabeth responded.
Then I sat down on her bed in the cell.
"I don't remember what happened, but they just took me. I was asleep. In one moment I was just sleeping and then I was in here. They told me I was guilty of something I didn't do. They also said that I will be getting a trial tomorrow. I am scared, I don't know what to do." She added,
"Don't be scared. If anything happens just know that God is with you. Tell him your worries, you will feel better. Believe me I am scared for you too, I don't want to lose you." I stated.
I got up and hugged her. I stayed with Elizabeth for sometime.
