"The floors were sticky. The crowd was rough." Sonic said as he and Stormi both jump on one of the motel beds while Tom gets some ice for his bruises. "And the odds were against us. But there was no stopping Donut Lord, The Blue Blur, and Squirt! Scratch another one off my list." He scratches off an item on his bucket list. Tom sits down on the other bed as the sibling sat down on the bed. "You are a weird little dude." Tom said. He hands Sonic a makeshift ice pack.
Sonic imitates Tom as he tends to his bruises. Tom notices and gets annoyed. "Okay." Tom said. "So, what are we gonna do now?!" Sonic asked very excited. Tom starts to take off his shoes. "I'm gonna pass out watching TV. I think you guys should too." Tom said."But this is our last night on Earth! I want to soak up every last second!" Sonic exclaimed. Tom continues to tend to his bruises. "All right, anything you can find to do in this room, you knock yourself out." Stormi grabs her bag and takes out her teddy bear and sat down next to Tom.

Sonic looks around and zips all over the room, doing pretty much everything he can to amuse himself: a self-pillow fight, ripping out tissues, teetering over a light, opening and closing a drawer from the inside, channel surfing, spinning a painting wildly, flushing the toilet, and slipping with a broom. Finally, he finishes up with a shower and comes back to the bed wearing towels on his head and body, and slippers on his feet."Good times" He said.
Sonic lets out a fart, which annoys Tom even more. "Oh, come on." Tom waves the air as Stormi covers her nose. "Ewww, Sonic!" She rolls her eyes. "That's awful. What did you eat?" Tom asked. "I think it's called a... chili dog?" Sonic answered. "You might want to check your fur on that one, buddy. Hey, so, what's this next planet you guys supposed to go to like?"
"It's no Earth, I can tell you that. There's no people, just breathable air and giant mushrooms and stuff." Sonic explained. Stormi nods. "Yeah! And there's nothing to do there!" Tom shrugs. "Well, look at it this way; at least you two won't be the only "fun-guys." Tom joked making the siblings groan. "Really..." Stormi facepalmed. "No. Don't ever do that again." Sonic groaned. Tom chuckled. "I liked it."
Sonic looks around the motel room."I'm really gonna miss this place. I know we have to leave Earth to be safe, but what if Longclaw was wrong? Maybe we could have a life here." Tom looks at the edge of the bed to see Stormi all curled up hugging her bear tight. He smiles softly as he picks her up and places her on the bed Sonic was on. "All right. We should get some sleep too." He tucks Stormi in and sits back on the bed he was on. "You sleep. Don't worry about me. I'm gonna stay up all night enjoying Earth while I can! Poor Stormi, she won't be able to enjoy Earth if she's asleep." Tom chuckled. "Let her sleep. I think the whole bar fight tired her out" Tom said.
