Bleeding, you tried to lie down but it made it even worse.

Genuine care lit up his expression; this was one of the only times you were actually dying, feeling every sense of safety slip from your grasp replaced by unbearable pain. Most of the previous occasions were just you getting a little injured or tripping and almost getting caught.

"Look, I am so sorry I couldn't stop him in time. He promised he'd refrain," Seek apologized while he was looting every drawer he could, trying to find bandages and vitamins to help relieve your injuries.

As soon as he found them he wrapped them around your wounds. He made you swallow the vitamins he gave you earlier, which thankfully made you feel a lot better.

You took a deep breath, trying not to panic. But it was hard not to, you were bleeding to death. You sat cross-legged on the floor. Seek sat next to you while bandaging the rest of the wounds. He tried his best to comfort you, but he was not good with compassionate words.

"How are you feeling?"

"I'm fine.. thank you.." you replied with a shaky voice.

He sighed, thankful that you were okay.

"I'm going to let you rest."
Seek stayed quiet while sitting beside you, giving you the time to think and let your mind go where ever.

The air around you felt cold. Although, it didn't trouble you that much. It made you shiver, but the loud thunder disrupting your silent peace and your wounds stinging every second bothered you more.
You were still sitting on the cold, rough carpet when you felt extremely tired. You've gone through enough.

Your eyelids were drooping and your head kept falling forward, but you immediately lifted it up. Seek put his arm around you so you'd have somewhere to rest. The carpet isn't a very comfortable pillow anyway..

He turned on a lighter he found in a drawer, instantly bringing warmth to the breeze surrounding you.

"You can close your eyes, don't worry."

You didn't hesitate this time even if your were scared. You shut your eyes, in solace and ease. If you were to die anyway, atleast it would be in peace.
Your bleeding has already slowed down by now thankfully.

You leaned on his shoulder, just hoping that he wouldn't harm you. .

All that went on in your dreams was your home. The morning daylight that always burned your eyes, which you now deathly miss. Your friends and all the things you did before coming here. It's probably been so long already, and they're most likely dead. But it still hurt. You couldn't stop thinking about them. It made you tear up a bit as your chest started feeling heavy and anxious. A few teardrops turned into pitiful crying, which Seek took notice of. He wiped your tears with a cloth from a table right next to him.

The loneliness of the whole hotel made you feel small. Stuck in an infinite void of rooms that are only there as decoration.
Despite the amount of entities you encountered and one literally guiding you by your side, you felt isolated.

You quieted down, hoping that you didn't annoy him or anything. Wistfully, you went back to slumber praying that you'd miraculously wake up in your bed. Where everything was much better than before. It was merely an imagination of yours, as you knew there wouldn't be a way to return back.

Seek made sure you were comfortable. When he thought you fully dozed off, he turned off the lighter knowing you wouldn't mind anyway as you were deep asleep. He leaned his head on your yours, resting next to you.

He went to put the lighter in his pocket, but he felt the random love letter from earlier. He brought it out and put the lighter in its place.
He opened it carefully, making sure not to wake you up.

"Forgot I kept this here.." he read it over and over again. He knew the words by heart. He's read this before you did.

After a while, he took a breath and folded the paper again in a heart shape.

"Now it looks better, haha, " he while silently laughing a little.
He put the envelope back and adjusted himself as he felt a little cramped. You flinched for a second but immediately went back to sleep. You were too tired for anything at this point.

He put his hand on yours which was lying on the carpet, slowly closing his eye.
"Goodnight," he smiled, whispering in order not to wake you up.

"....love you. " And with that, he fell asleep next to you.
