Celebration

So basically I thought Dev and Radhika being engaged is a big event so it needs to be celebrated. So this is a short chapter on a song from Mismatched season 2 for the celebration.

P.S. : Forgive me if the lyrics are not proper as they have not officially released the lyrics of this song so this is what I have written but I hope you would enjoy it...

THIRD PERSON POV.

After the announcement made by Dev, he brought Radhika down with him as everyone wanted to congratulate them. Dev settled Radhika on the sofa as everybody congratulated them. Shubhman thought of celebrating the occasion so he put up a song with Punjabi beats taking up the room...

Ishwari sat at a side of Radhika and said to Radhika,

Jhat pat mat kar time abhi hai soch ke hi badhna haaa...

Radhika laughed as she was getting warned by her friend about getting married... Megha (Shubhang's wife) sat at the other side and said Dramatically to Radhika...

Ghodi chadna to chadna Bhai suli na chadhna haaaa

Dev was standing at the other side of the room and chuckled but soon Hardik slinged his one arm over Dev and said,

Are maan mai koi bera, ye bawala Dil hai tera

Bhumhra came to the other side and said like he was consoling Dev,

Are achi khasi chal rahi thi Teri single wali symphony

Ruturaj came in front of Dev and said to Dev,

Teri bajgai bajgai aaj to bhai pipni ve pipni

Virat and KL too joined in as they celebrated their brother's engagement.

Soon all the boys joined in and did the step like they were playing pipni,

Everybody joined in dancing as Dev and Radhika at the two ends just seeing how happy everyone around them were. Their eyes met in between the crowd and remained locked. Radhika jokingly with all the nakhra said the next lyrics Looking at Dev,

Jo maan mein koi baat ho...
to seedhe aake bol do...
phir aaj ke ye baad mauka ho na ho

Dev too returned with the answer as he said next,

Behetar hai ki yaad ho ki...
aab tum mere sath ho...
iss baat ko kahi pe tum dil mein bandh lo...

They were having their own conversations when Ishan Plopped beside Radhika on sofa and said,

To abhi se ye haal to aane vale saal jane kya Kya ho bawal..

Shubhman sat at the other side and said putting his hands in air like he was trying to make her understand,

Aur achi khasi chal rahi thi Teri single wali symphony

Radhika laughed at the scene and Dev too laughed looking at the scene. Athiya nudged his shoulder with her as she said,

Teri bangai bangai aaj se bhai zindadi re zindadi re

Anushka too said said teasing Dev,

Teri bangai bangai aaj se bhai zindadi re zindadi re

Anushka then pushed the wallflower Dev in the middle to dance. Dev was genuinely happy after many months. The love of his life was finally his fiancee so he let himself loose and danced full on, on the Punjabi tunes.

Radhika saw Dev dancing and was so happy that she even whistled,

Dev saw Radhika and at once made a beeline to her. He picked Radhika in his arms as Radhika shrieked as she didn't know he was gonna pick her. He then brought her to the centre as well.

Dekh chadh gayi sabki jo pipni... Teri cheez basant jo pipani..

Dekh chadh gayi sabki jo pipni... Teri cheez basant ho sweet bitter si pipni

Dev moved a little on his legs so they both could dance as he knew Radhika loves dancing but couldn't at the moment. Radhika just laughed as she tightened her hold on his.

Everybody joined in the dance even Rahul Dravid Vijeta, Radhika's family.

The boys even did an act of playing pipni with their hands around the couple as they all teased as well and celebrated their engagement.

Everybody was laughing at the end, a bit tired by all the dancing but had huge smiles on their faces. Radhika and Dev had a big smile on their faces as they rested their forehead against eachother's, just soaking in the happiness they were blessed with in that moment.
