3- First Day

I got out of the shower and put on jeans and a black t-shirt. I yawned and stepped out of the bathroom. I walked up the stairs to Regan's room. I opened the door to see her sleeping. A grin spread across my face.

I stepped over to her bed. "Wake up!!" I yelled. She reacted the same way as me. I smirked and ran to my room and locked the door. I put my socks and shoes on and went to the kitchen to hear Regan mumbling. I laughed.

"Revenge my friend." I stated. She glared at me. I ignored it and got myself a glass of milk. She stood up, and I grabbed my glass and drank it all. Then washed it and put it in the dish washer. I grabbed my backpack, then walked out the door with Regan following me. I stopped while Regan locked the door behind us.

At school

We walked into the office. There was a desk in front with a sign that read 'Principle Tsunade.' I walked up and asked "Um excuse me. We are new here and we need to know our classes please." The woman looked up.

"Oh hello! I'm principle Tsunade! I'm assuming you two are Regan and Ertha. Right?"

"Hai." Regan responded. She handed us two schedules and smiled.

"Have a great day!" She said waving us off.

"Well now that that's over with" Regan waved her paper and took mine comparing them. Her eyes lit up. "We have 2nd 4th 5th and 10th!" There were a total of 12 periods. I groaned that's not a lot, but whatever.

1st: math (Mr. Asuma)

2nd: English (Mrs Kurenai)

3rd: Writing (Mrs Kurenai)

4th: Japanese History (Mrs. Richards)

5th: organization skills (mrs Judd)

6th: Art (Mr. Stanton)

7th: science (Mr Yakushi)

8th: home room (Mr. Hatake)

9th: P.E. (Mr. Gai)

10th: Study Hall (Mr. Hatake)

11th: Computer Science (mr Hatake)

12th: Chemistry (Mr Orochimaru))

I waved at Regan, and walked to first period. I hate math. Just so you know it's halfway through the semester. I arrived at the class. The teacher looked at me and smiled. "You must be Ertha! My name is Mr. Asuma. I teach math. Glad to meet you!" He introduced himself. I smiled at him. I nodded and sat in the corner near a window. Then a familiar face came in the room. It was Naruto. I mentally slapped myself. This was going to be great. I thought sarcastically.

"Hey Ertha!" Naruto waved. There was a boy next to him. He had raven hair that looked like a duck's butt. He had onyx eyes. I laughed at the boy's hair. It looked very stupid. "Huh? What's so funny?" I kept laughing and pointed at the boy. "Oh! This is Sasuke !" I'm assuming your laughing at his hair." I nodded running out of air.

"Hn" he responded with nothing but that. It was weird, but I was kinda attracted to him. I hated his kind though. They were so naive and ridiculous. It was only his looks though. I was like attracted to him, but not. It was weird. "What are you staring at?!" A voice startled me from my thoughts.

"Oh! Sorry lost in thought" I said shaking my head. I looked at the teacher who began teaching. Everyone sat down. Naruto next to me and Sasuke on the other side of him. I stared out the window. While he talked. I was still listening just not much. Then the bell rang. I got up and headed to 2nd period. I saw Regan.

"Hey, Regan..." I greeted feeling glum.

"Hey. What's wrong?" She asked obviously concerned.

"Oh. I just got lost in thought during math, and you know what happens when my thoughts take over." She nodded understanding. When my thoughts took over, I get depressed thinking about everything bad rather than good.

"I see. Well lets get to class!" She ordered. She can be quite the dictator when she wants to be.

During class me and Regan got to read. They were in the middle of an important project, so we didn't start. The class ended quickly, when the bell rang I just left.

Third period wasn't significant. Fourth period was what surprised me. I sat down and the bell rang. Naruto was in the class. Sasuke was too (to my disappointment. Don't ask why. I just don't like Sasuke.) I sighed. There was a girl in the front of the class. She was around my age. "Hey get in your seat before Mrs. Richards comes!" I whispered. She just smiled at me. She had brown hair and light pale skin with blue eyes.

"Ok class we have two new students here in our class. Please treat them with respect." The girl explained. My mouth dropped. She was the teacher!? Sasuke groaned. Naruto grinned. Regan banged her head on her desk.

The class was uneventful. She taught we listened. She told us about herself because we're new. She seemed nice! I like her. I think we can be friends seeing as she's my age. She's just really really smart! She skipped five grades in second grade.

Naruto literally jumped me after class and dragged me to lunch. "I want to introduce you to the rest of my friends!" We stopped at a table. He pointed to a girl with pink hair "that's Sakura. That's Shikamaru, Choji, Ino, Kiba, Hinata, Shino, Lee, TenTen, and Neji!" Naruto introduced happily. I smiled nervously waving my hand.

I noticed Naruto blushing while looking at Sakura and giggled. I looked to Regan who was just staring blankly and elbowed her in the ribs. "Loosen up ReRe!" She glared at me. "How many times must I tell you. Do NOT call me ReRe!" she rolled her eyes when I laughed.

Sasuke walked over at that time. What I noticed was Sakura and Ino blush and squeal at Sasuke's arrival. 'Oh great! Fangirls!' I muttered mentally. I sat down next to Regan and Neji. Neji seemed the most approachable seeing as he sat on the end and seemed to not be engaged in coversation. A thought went through my head. 'This school will before interesting than I thought.' Then I smirked and got lunch.

------------Later During 8th period---------

I walked into my homeroom. I wondered what kind of work we'd do here. I looked at the teacher. He had silver hair that seemed to defy gravity. I chuckled lightly. Then I saw the book he was reading and was simply disgusted. It was a book called Make-out Paradise. 'Ew....' I thought grossed out.

Much more to my disappointment I saw Sasuke and his little fangirls. 'I think I'm going to learn to hate this class.' I thought in a fake optimistic voice.

"Ok first things first. New student. Name's Ertha. Treat her nicely." he announced never looking up from his book. "Though I doubt you will" he muttered the last part. "You can do whatever for the rest of class just do it quietly." with that he stopped talking and the class was whispering and listening to music. I was listening to 'Never Too Late' by Three Days Grace until a boy with red hair came in. "Sorry I'm late..." he muttered and sat next to me. I eyed him. 'Now this boy is cute!' I thought then mentally smacked myself. 'Don't even try' that's when I heard Kakashi say "Its fine Gaara" He nodded and sat there listening to 'Riot' by Three Days Grace. How do I know? It's really loud. I don't mind, but whatever.

"Hey." I whispered to the redhead. I smiled. 'Might as well make a friend rather than an enemy.' I thought slightly glaring at Sasuke.

He took one of his earphones out. "What?" he asked confused that someone was even talking to him.

"I said hey" I repeated. "I'm Ertha and I'm new here. Who are you?" I said encouragingly. He seemed nice enough.

"Gaara" he said simply. He offered a slight curve of his lip. Then went back to listening to his music.

The day ended quickly. I walked home with Regan talking about what happened except it wasn't much. Mostly the topic was about what we thought of people. Interesting am I right? Well that's just the beginning of it. I have a feeling it's gonna get much more interesting as time goes on.

A/N: How are you liking it so far? I hope you do! Well I'm going to try to update weekly, buuut knowing me that won't happen so bother me, demand, and pester me until I can't handle it and I'll update. I'm too lazy for my own good.....
