Regan's POV
The second Ertha hit the ground, I panicked. Why was I taking my emotions out on her? I knew she loved this cereal, yet I ate it. I knew she fell down the stairs and hit her head, yet I threw the box at her face.
It's just that stupid Hidan that's gotten me all worked up. He took me to the stupid arcade I had been dying to go to since I saw it. How did he even know?? I took my phone to call the school, but before I could, I saw that Hidan had texted me.
From:???-???-????
Hey Ray! While you were focused on that Ski ball round, I snuck in and stole your number! -Hidan
-End-
What a creepy stalker I've gained. I let out a groan and looked over to Ertha. Then I walked over and picked her up. All she needed was rest and a careful eye. Guess were not going to school today.
I'd have to call them later so they understand the situation. A sigh escaped my mouth as I started to carry her to her room. 'What has she been eating?' I wondered. She's a lot heavier than she looks.
Once situated in her bed, I took out my phone and added Hidan's number as 'That Creepy Stalker' Then texted him back,
To: That Creepy Stalker
Why the hell would you do that? You're acting like a stalker you know!
-End-
After that I rang up the school. After a few rings they picked up. "Yes, hi! My name is Regan Willis. I'm calling about myself and Ertha Stuart. Ertha passed out a few minutes ago and is unable to go to school, and I need to watch over to make sure she's ok. Please understand." The lady spoke some random nonsense and I hung up once she was finished.
After that I sat back in the chair. My mind drifted where my mind had no right to drift; to last night. It was strange.
Why would he even want to do that. He says he wants me to open up to him, but could I believe that? He doesn't exactly seem like the most trustworthy of people.
-Last Night-
Once the bell rang, Hidan grabbed my wrist tightly, yet not right enough to hurt me. He dragged me through the halls laughing like maniac. I was just trying to keep up. 'Why did I agree to this?' I had thought regretfully.
Hidan's car was parked at a restaurant a few minutes walk from the school. "Are you hungry? We can grab something before we go where I had in mind.
I was about to decline, this was bothersome as it is, but my stomach had other ideas, growling out loud. My face turned scarlet as Hidan let out a hearty laugh. "Sh-shut up! Yea I'm hungry! Take me somewhere nice!" I demanded to get the attention off me and on the road.
We climbed into the car and I put my seatbelt on. He ignored the safety rule and jammed his key into the ignition and turned it. I stared at him like the idiot he was. "Aren't you forgetting something?" I tugged my own seatbelt.
"Nah! Nothing'll happen, all the thing does is restrict my movement." he complained rather loudly. I rolled my eyes. "Whatever, if you die don't blame me." I concluded the subject nonchalantly.
The car pulled out of it's parking place and drove off. We drove around a while them stopped at a sushi place. 'Well the guy has good taste in food I guess.' I thought as we walked in the sushi place.
-Time Skip-
"SLOW DOWN!!! ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL US?!?!" I screamed as Hidan sped his way down the highway at 80 mph AT LEAST! My hands gripped my seat so tightly I was afraid my nails would damage the smooth leather of Hidan's car. Not that the state of the idiot's car mattered, it's just I'd probably be the one paying to get it done again.
"Just relax Ray! Live a little." Hidan attempted to shush me with a laugh. "Live!?? You mean die right? Were gonna burn and die at this rate!" All this did was make him cackle like a dying goose.
"You keep laughing! But when we die don't blame meeee." I sang regretfully.
We arrived at our destination within 10 minutes and it was a run down arcade. Still open but not very popular apparently. This is where he decided to take me? Alright...
Surprisingly, it was a very lively place, sounding much like a carnival would. Ski ball, bowling, air hockey, all that. I was amazed that Hidan knew of a place like this.
"Wow! Hidan! When did you find this place? It's amazing!" I was sure I had stars in my eyes as I ran to the counter to get tokens, and bowling shoes, etc. "That's probably the first complement you've ever given me, so I'll pay." He offered and took out his surprisingly fat wallet.
We played for hours. He even got my guard down enough that I was having fun. Everything was great. I even forgotten it was Hidan I was having fun with, it felt like I was with a forever friend that I'd known for years.
Somewhere along the way I remembered. 'What am I doing? This guys a lunatic... Why am I enjoying this? I need to get out of here...' I thought sadly. "Um Hidan? I'm gonna go, uh... freshen up. I'll be right back..." Then I hurriedly went to the bathroom.
I splashed water on my face and shook my head, even going so far as to hit myself to get sense back into my head.
Once I had gotten my cats in a row, I left the bathroom. Hidan was waiting for me with this weird stuffed boy that looked a lot like Eren Jaeger from AOT. "I uh.. win this for you.." He laughed nervously and handed me the Eren doll.
My heart skipped a beat but I quickly suppressed it. "Uh... thank you... Actually...Can we go home? I'm getting tired and Ertha's probably worried about me." I just had to get out, before I let this madness get to me.
His face seemed to sadden but he nodded, seeming to understand my words, and we left.
-End Flashback-
I blinked to get out of remembering the night before. 'That guys an idiot. I can't believe I let myself go around him...' I mentally slapped myself with those words. Well it's behind me. I got rid of the doll, it all behind me.
Luckily, before doubt could sink in, Era stirred in her sleep and I shot up and tapped her shoulder to get a response. She opened her eyes with a groan. "I don't feel good...." She complained rather noisily.
"Oh, you're fine." I shushed, but felt her forehead. "Holy gosh, you're burning! I'll be right back, with medicine and a wet towel. Just hold on ok?" 'How did she get so sick in this short period of time?' Those were my thoughts as I left the room for the necessary items for sick people.
