I yawned loudly enough to show how bored I was. Sasuke half smiled. "You tired?" he asked in English. I nodded to show him it was correct. "That's right. And yes, I am tired." I yawned again.

He nodded as if understanding. "I'm too tired to take you home, you can either sleep in the guest room," then he murmured something under his breath that I couldn't understand, "Or ask on of the guys partying in the other room, that is, if they're still sober." he yawned and crashed on his bed, already asleep.

His words sent shivers down my spine. Looking out his window, I realized it was too dark to walk. I thought of staying, but if what he said was true, there were drunk seniors in the house. I nodded, I would have ask someone. Out of the thirteen of them, at least one had to be sober.

I took a deep breath as I opened Sasuke's door a crack and peaked around. I couldn't deny the growing fear of facing drunk people. They were unpredictable, and as far as I'm concerned dangerous. Their bodies weren't under the control of common sense, just instinct.

It terrified me, just the thought that someone would /do/ that. I involuntarily shivered in disgust. I tried to push the thoughts away as I crept out of the room and into the hallway. I was barely halfway out the bedroom door when I was stopped by a familiar voice.

"Why are you sneaking around?" Itachi's soothing voice asked as he leaned against the rail that you could lean on and see downstairs. I jumped, startled.

I did the best I could do to hide my fear. "O-oh! H-hey Itachi!" I put up a weak wave and laughed nervously. He looked at me as if I was suspicious. "Did you steal something or something?" he asked trying to figure out why I was acting strangely.

I immediately took the defense. "Why would ask that?!" I yelled accusingly. He shrugged, "In my defense, I live here and I care, and you're tense and stuttering in front of the owner of this house." He rationed putting his hands in front of him as if trying to calm me.

Then it hit me. Itachi looked and sounded completely sober. "A-actually... I was wondering.... Sasuke's passed out from sleepiness and I have no way to get home... I'm acting weird cause Sasuke said you guys may be wasted.... So I was being cautious." I looked away nervously.

He walked up to me and patted my head softly. "Sure, why not? My friends just left, and I'm sure Sasuke, would appreciate it. Besides, you seem nice enough." He laughed. His smile blew me away. I couldn't keep my cheeks from heating up. "Th-thanks..." I said flustered and shy. He then proceeding downstairs, I followed a reasonable distance behind him.

He opened the garage door and took me to the garage. The light was off which kind of scared me. I searched for the light and our hands touched. I was scared he could see my blush. Luckily it was too dark. Our hands quickly retreated. "Sorry... it is really dark." he laughed nervously.

The lights turned on in that moment and we walked to the car that belonged to Itachi. It was a nice car, but I don't really know much about cars, so I couldn't say what kind it is. We climbed into the car, me in the front now. I tried to make myself as small as possible. It made me nervous, being in a car with someone I don't know. Taking many silent deep breaths, I was able to calm myself down.

It didn't take us long to get to my house, since we weren't far. I smiled at the sight of my house, and climbed out of the car. "Thank you so much for taking me back." He nodded and replied with "Anytime. I never caught your name though." he added. "M-me? I'm Ertha." I introduced myself shyly and looked away. He chuckled. "You're cute." Then he left me in a daze.

'What's that supposed to mean?!' I thought frantically. I quickly gave up the thought and walked inside where Regan was waiting for me patiently.

Walking into the living room I was welcomed by a sleeping Regan on the couch. "Was she waiting for me?" I whispered quietly. It looked like it from here. I smiled softly and went to my room. I came back with a blanket and out it over her body. "Sweet dreams Regan." Then I went to bed myself.
