5 - Off to the Mall!

ERTHA'S POV!!!

The day passed by in an uneventful manner. We had our classes. Even though Regan fell asleep in most of them. Lunch was boring, classes were boring. Everything just bored me today.

At the end of the day, Hinata came up to Regan and I. "H-hello Reagan and Ertha. U-umm... I-I was wondering I-if y-you guys w-would like to c-come with us to the m-mall l-later? 6:00?" She asked in and embarrassed way. I smiled assuringly and looked at Regan. Who had a blank expression on, which only made her more nervous. I elbowed her in the ribs. She glared at me and I smiled.

Luckily she got the hint and smiled at Hinata. "I'd love to!" I answered for the both of us. Regan nodded. She nodded. "Meet us at the front of the school at 6..." Then she left. Regan started to leave without me. I gaped. "Wait for me you meanie!!" I called as I ran after her, who in turn started running so we had a chase scene all the way home.

I was in my room organizing my clothes. That was the last thing I had to do. I had to put my clothes away. My mom had gotten me new clothes. Unfortunately my mom had gotten me mainly pink clothes. Here's something that could help you when dealing with me. I. Hate. PINK!!!!! Pink and me don't mix. I put all the pink clothes in a box and shoved it under a bed. Then I proceeded to put clothes on hangers, and hang them in my closet.

I looked at the clock. It read '5:15'. "I have about forty-five minutes! That's more than enough time!" I smiled than dumped the cardboard boxes that once held her clothes into the hallway. "I saw a nice black top in there somewhere." I walked to my closet again and looked through my clothes.

About five minutes later I came out of my room in a pair of black jeans, had halfway knee high boots, a loose black top that said 'Live Beautifully Dream Passionately Love Completely', and a black leather jacket over it. Over obsessed with black? You could say that. Regan looked over my clothes. "You wear too much black" she criticized with a shake of her head.

I looked at Regan's clothes. She wore faded blue jeans, red converse, a light blue t-shirt, with a dark blue jacket. I smiled. "You know how much I love black ReRe!" I giggled lightly.

She shook her head. "I know to well. Anyway, it's five-forty five so we better get a move on." She grabbed her money and started for the door. I nodded as a grin spread across my face.

We started down the street as we saw Naruto running towards the school. "Hey Naruto!" I called as he slid to a stop.

He looked at me, sweat beading on his forehead. "Hey!" he waved. His voice was way louder than it should've been.

I winced. "How long have you been running? you look tired." Regan asked putting her hand on her hip.

He grinned sheepishly. "A while. I'm trying to impress Mr. Gai!" He laughed. I smiled at his hard work. "Keep that up and I'm sure it'll work!" I encouraged. "Wanna walk with us?" I looked to Regan who had a glare set on her face. Then I remembered how she scared Naruto. "Actually, continue running. We'll see you there." I waved as he ran off. 'Poor guy..' I thought as Regan shook her head and chuckled.

We got to the mall right on time. "We're here!" I cheered and Regan hit my shoulder. "You're so loud." she stated and I pouted. "Shut up...." I said grumpily. We heard voices behind us. "Regan and Ertha! Over here!" a voice called. It happened to be Naruto. He had probably just gotten here too.

"Hey Naruto!" I called waving my hand. His face was red from running. Sasuke and Sakura were next to him. Behind them were Hinata, Neji, Kiba, and Shikamaru. I smiled. Regan and I walked up to them. "Hey the rest of the people are here!" I grinned at the people before me. Hinata waved at us slowly but a smile stayed on her face. Shikamaru waved but his face gave away that he didn't really want to be here. Neji just looked bored. Kiba smirked, "Hey girls." Sakura waved "You guys ready for fun!?" she cheered. Sasuke groaned at Sakura's cheer. "Whatever lets get this over with" Then we all walked in together.

I saw that Regan looked a bit uncomfortable because of all the people standing around her. "Hey Naruto!" I called and his head turned towards me "Yea?" he asked with an inclined eyebrow.

I twirled my thumbs nervously. Thing is, I hate asking things that might inconvenience people. "Can we split up into groups? The group is a bit large.." I asked quietly. I felt Regan smile gratefully. I looked up at her and smiled gleefully.
