Song: I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVE by Måneskin
Jon entered the great hall with a few other burly Skandians. The atmosphere became rather rowdy as the men walked into the hall, their loud remarks and hollers capturing the attention of Robin. Jon came to a halt, his breathing hitching as he spotted the outlaw from across the hall. She was alive! His stomach twisted as his eyes met Robin's. A scowl crossed her features, and the man felt his heart drop.
Robin Hood stood from the bench she was sitting at, before quietly disappearing down the hall, without Erak noticing her. Jon followed the pissed off woman, running after her.
'Aasta!' He called out dodging between people as he felt his heart sink even further. The cloak came into view, and the man recognised the bow which slung over the figure's shoulder.
'Aasta!' Jon shouted again, however the woman failed to halt as she continued to stride forward, before disappearing around another corner.
Jon found himself exiting the Great Hall, weaving through people to gain the attention of robin. 'Please, Aasta, just let me speak to y-'
'It's okay, I understand.' The outlaw uttered as she turned to face her lost friend. The slight drift of breeze catching her locks as her soft expression sent a hint of reassurance to the man. However, at the same pace in which an arrow can be shot, Robin's eyes hardened, and, and her face contorted into a snarl.
'I understand that you are a coward.' She hissed in a low voice, the eery calmness to her tone making the man feel all the more uneasy. 'In fact, I am surprised you haven't cowered away from this war.' Robin remarked, slightly tilting her head as she took slow steps forward, her accusing stare drilling into Jon. 'But then again, having a bunch of Skandian warriors behind your back would bring more confidence over a trusting friend, right?'
Jon dropped his gaze, unable to keep eye-contact under Robin's harsh glare. He took a step forward, the pit of stomach filling with guilt. 'Aasta.'
'It's Robin now. Out of everyone, I thought at least you would have made the connection.' She growled, taking a step back as she eyed the man with caution.
'Robin, that isn't fair, I have changed. I have matured and grown on my values. Please, forgive me for what happened in the past. My actions were terrible, and every day I resent myself for it. Please forgive me.' Jon pleaded, his eyes alone conveying the emotion in which consumed his senses.
''You want to earn my forgiveness?' She questioned, crossing her arms as she raised an eyebrow. 'Fight me.'
Jon furrowed his brow, as both confusion and anxiety swirled within his stomach.
'Fight you? Aasta-'
Robin narrowed her eyes, and the man corrected himself.
'Robin, I am not going to do that.' He replied, desperately searching for any form of compassion in her resentful glare.
'What a surprise, the coward won't accept a challenge.' She retorted.
Aasta this isn't you!' Jon proclaimed, stepping forward as he reached out his hand, but Robin backed away in disgust, ignoring any form of sympathy that creeped into her gut.
'No, it isn't. Do you know why, little Jon.' She used her old nickname for him, it always used to be so funny since he was always the bigger of the two. 'Do you know why! Because Aasta is still where you left her to die!' Robin raised her voice, and Jon stepped back at her sudden burst of aggravation.
'That isn't what happened.'
She ignored him. 'You were always the stronger one when it came to fist fights, let's see if that still stands.'
