The atmosphere became rather rowdy as the men walked into the hall, their loud remarks and hollers, Erak however didn't notice as he was deep in conversation with Svengal, and a few other of his friends. So when Robin Hood stood from the bench she was sitting at, a few seats away from him, before quietly disappearing down the hall. Erak didn't notice.

Nor did Erak notice another Skandian follow Robin Hood, shouting Aasta.

Their conversation had steered towards the Temujai and suddenly Erak remembered the outlaw he was meant to watching with a close eye. Looking around he cursed, she was no where in sight.

He looked to Svengal who had just noticed the same thing, they both rose from their seats to go and track her down.

As they left the great hall, Svengal muttered, 'she's probably half way out of the country by now.'

Erak shook his head, from what he had seen, Robin Hood was no coward. 'I don't think so.'

He ignored his friend's confused look and kept up his pace. Out in the streets they heard cheering and yelling, they followed the sounds. Then they saw it a crowd gathered around two Skandians.

Naturally Robin Hood was fighting someone.

She stepped back, her teeth gritting as she wiped at the trail of blood which trickled down her face. Her blood splattered all over the ground of the hard ground. She licked her split lip and grinned at him.

The crowd was cheering, that was one thing Skandians liked more than a good fight, watching a good fight.

Robin growled throwing all of her weight forward and he stepped into a blazing roundhouse kick that rattled his skull. He started to fall until--

Robin's other foot slammed into his rib cage.

One thing was for sure, Erak thought, she was definitely a good fighter. He pushed past the spectating Skandians.

She pursued him and fired foot and fist into him repeatedly, like she was exercising on a heavy bag rather than hitting a person. The man kneed her in the stomach, then they were on the ground wrestling. Erak gestured to Svengal to pull off the other Skandian as he went to grab Robin. Suddenly she was yanked back from the man by him. His hand on the collar of her tunic.

'Enough!' Erak bellowed. 'Hood!' What do you think you're doing!' His voice boomed over the pathway.

Robin Hood didn't pay attention to Erak. Svengal was pulling the other Skandian away.

'Once a coward, always a coward!' She spat. 'You son of a bitch.'

The other Skandian growled at her in response. Erak made eye contact with his first mate, conveying a confused look. His tone however didn't waver.

'What is going on here!' Erak bellowed again, looking between the burly man and Robin.

'Just a friendly little wrestling match.' Robin told him, not taking her eyes away from the Skandian she was fighting.

'Doesn't look like that. Does it Svengal?' He asked his first mate.

'It sure doesn't Skirl.'

'To me it looked like you two were trying to kill each other. Leaving my line of sight alone gives Ragnak terms to kill you Hood. Let alone this trouble.'

'Like she said Jarl it was just a friendly little wrestling match.' the man told him not once taking his eyes from Robin.

Robin struggled, trying to get out of his grip he had on her collar. She turned around and punched him in the face, quickly stepping away from him. Anger surged through his body and he pushed her to ground, before he could let his anger control him anymore he stopped.

Erak's eyes were dangerously grim, 'I'll allow that once, do it again and I'll kill you.' The tone in his voice indicating that he was dead serious.

He watched her as she stood up and didn't back down. 'Well then it seems we are at a crossroad, because if you do that again, I'll kill you.' She grinned, blood all over her face.

One thing was for certain, the mind of that woman was far more complex than he ever could have imagined.

Robin now sat near the basin of water, washing her bloodied face with a cloth. Erak stood nearby watching her closely.

'For what it's worth I'm sorry I hit you.' Robin muttered, not looking up from the basin. Erak grunted in response. She continued, 'no really, that fight was between him and I, not us.'

Erak turned to look at her, seeing some form of sincerity in her eyes. His curiosity was to much to bear. 'What was that fight about?'

Robin chuckled, 'like I said that was between him and I.'

'Were you actually trying to kill each other?'

'A little bit.' Erak chuckled. 'What are you going to tell Ragnak?'

Erak was silent for a minute, before a subtle grin played on his lips. 'There's nothing to tell.'

Robin smiled at him, 'thanks.'

But Erak shrugged, 'if Ragnak found out I let you out of my sight, there would be some issues.' He paused before adding, 'But if you do leave my line of sight again, we'll find ourselves at that little crossroad you mentioned earlier.' Robin nodded. That was fair.
