High Tide, Driftmark Island
112 AC
Two years later, Princess Shaera Targaryen was born at High Tide. She had white-gold hair and violet eyes.
Rhaenyra turned sixteen in that year. She had multiple ladies in waiting—Alys Lannister, Vanessa Baratheon, Laena Velaryon, Eira Stark, Emily Tyrell, Alerie Arryn, Lilian Tully, Josephine Manderly, and Bethany Redwyne.
With her ladies, Rhaenyra had restarted the women's courts of Alysanne Targaryen. Laela helped regularly as well.
"So, it is set?" Laela asked her twin as they strolled the beaches of Driftmark, arm in arm.
Laela did not have the darker complexion of her siblings, instead the alabaster skin of her mother. Laenor's silver-white hair was cut short while her own white-gold hair was pulled into a long braid.
"Yes. With Laena the heiress of Driftmark and High Tide, betrothed to our cousin Daeron, Rhaenyra and I children shall take the Targaryen name. I will be Laenor Targaryen of House Velaryon." Laenor mused.
Laela hummed. "The wedding is in a fortnight."
"Do you have the potion ready?" the rider of Seasmoke inquired in High Valyrian, just in case there were Green spies eavesdropping.
"I do." the light violet eyed Velaryon scion nodded, responding in High Valyrian.
"Good." Laenor said. He preferred men, and never thought he would be able to have children of his own.
But with his sister's aid and with magic, he and Rhaenyra would have legitimate children of their own.
That is today's chapter. I hope you all enjoyed it.
