Amira Meeting her Father

Gin's POV

I woke to my phone ringing, I answered it before it woke Amira. "Gin's phone, Gin speaking" I say tiredly.

"Gin, it's Mason" he says.

"Mason? Why are you calling?" I ask as I got out of bed. Not waking Amira.

"We have to talk, I think you know what about" he states. I sigh running a hand through my hair.

"I do" I say as I looked at Amira.

"Can you meet me at the Lockwood waterhole in an hour?" he asks me.

"I'll be there in half an hour" I tell him. He agrees and hangs up. I go downstairs to see Jenna making coffee. "Can I have one of those?" I ask her. She nods her head. "I'm seeing Mason soon, think you can watch Amira for a couple of hours?" I ask.

"Sure, but use protection. I don't think I'm ready to be an aunt again" she tells me. I slap her shoulder.

"Not going to happen, I'm just going to tell him about Amira and see if he wants to meet her" I tell him.

"Well if he does, there's a carnival at the school tonight. I'm sure Amira would have a lot of fun" she tells me.

"Sounds great" I state and grab an apple. "Amira should wake up in an hour, she has coco pops for breakfast. With a glass of juice" I tell her. She nods her head and I left.

(Mini time skip)

"You're late" I state as Mason joins me by the lake.

"Sorry, was on a run with Tyler" he says sheepishly. "So I have a daughter?" he asks as he sits beside me.

"Yep" I say nodding my head.

"Why didn't you tell me?" he asks me.

"You left and I left, it was a one night stand. You weren't ready to be a father, heck I wasn't ready to be a mother" I tell him. "But I love her, she's the best thing about my life. So thank you" I add.

"Does she know who I am?" he asks.

"She knows her father is Mason Lockwood" I tell him. "She dreamed about you, running through the woods playing tag" I state. He stiffens. "I know Mason" I tell him.

"Know what?" he asks me.

"Mason, we were best friends in school. Amira is your daughter, do you really think I wouldn't found out about your family secret?" I ask him.

"What secret?" he asks.

"I died Mason, during labor. My heart stopped, the doctors brought me back but I was legally dead for nearly two minutes" I tell him. He looks at me shocked.

"You mean she's triggered the curse?" he asks me.

"She doesn't see it that way, she's lived with it her whole life. She loves running through the woods on a full moon and longs to do it with her dad" I tell him. "She doesn't even feel pain anymore on a full moon and has control of herself" I state.

"I'm so sorry Gin" he tells me.

"I'm not, yes it was hard in the beginning. But Amira and I are fine now. She wants to meet you" I tell him.

"I'd love to meet her" he tells me.

"How about tonight at the school carnival?" I suggest.

"Sounds great" he tells me. "See you there at six?" he asks. I nod my head.

"Mason, how did it happen for you? I know you, you're not a murderer" I state. He tells me what happened. "I'm sorry you had to go through that Mason, if you need anything I'm here" I tell him.
